  1. I thought about that too or in that grey electrical conduit but am worried about moisture getting trapped in the tube and just chilling in there especially back home with the repeated freeze and thaw
  2. I'll be using these along the frame for the first few runs using stainless hardware and then use some heavy duty zip ties for the rest if I leave it exposed
  3. Any suggestions? Pretty much under the truck with a 4" hole in the back somewhere (probably just behind the rear seat on the driver side) I'm stationed out in rainy Washington state but eventually I'll be moving back the Minnesota and want it to be protected against the elements and road salt. Will the jacket suffice on the knu wire or does anyone have any other suggestions on running or protecting it.
  4. If your worried about the common grounds you could use buss bars for the 14v batts and use straight power/ground runs from the alt to the batts Then again there would still be that point at the alt where the 12v and 14v meet. Hmmm nevermind my mind just went noob
  5. Check out the box I made for my friends impala in my sig. Sub back/ports back
  6. that's nice.. what did you use to get that color?? Yeah like they said it's just textured paint I got from advanced autoparts nothing special. I gotta look into the sem stuff though for my pillars
  7. Sheeeeiit, I've been working on and off on my hoe for a year and still nothing. Soon though, very soon. Post pics of your build I'm sure you'll get a lot of negative feedback but if it built well and it's strong, they can't really say shit nahmeen?
  8. Nice box and equipment. Hurry upand get that alt before your gear gets pissed off
  9. Just brace the shit out of it and don't forget to take into account the displacement of the bracing. But if it's temporary fuck it, do your thang. I feel you man. I've been without beat for waaaaaaay too long *smacks vein on arm then scratches neck* I need my fix
  10. i got lots of hardwood scrap laying around. so bracing isnt a problem You'll still wanna seal it with resin though cause particle board is pretty porous. What are you trying to run on how much power?
  11. You can but it won't be very strong and you'll end up spending more money to brace it and glass it to get it as stout as an 3/4" mdf box. I say just get some 3/4" mdf man and do work Ninja'd by zayres29 FML
  12. best raise i got was getting out congrats now you actually command some respect. I did as a Cpl, especially at my new command with a bunch of boot Cpl's. Here in WA a lot of the marines pretty much had e-4 given to them so the respect was diluted which is bs cause as an nco you need to demand it not expect so I made sure they knew I'm not one to to try to play. It's just being called Sgt that I have to get used to cause I've been doing a Sgts job for awhile now. Thanks everyone
  13. I do but wish I could more. She's been spoiling me lately with equipment and the baddest blender in the world. SHE wants me to finish my build. Cause she wants me to stunt the new system lol and she wants one now too. I can't wait to build hers (I have it planned out already) I think I'll surprise her with it
  14. A little more weight on the collar. Sergeant of Marines 1. What does it mean to you? Nothing besides more pics (see 2) 2. What does it mean to me? Accomplishment and more money for the wifey and I (maybe some audioz)
  15. Those 2 bottles are MEKP (the hardner for the resin) not activator for the ca glue. -Boat shop, home depot, lowes for the resin, fiberglass mat, bondo, brushes, cup, extra MEKP, sandpaper, dust mask/respirator, -hobby store for ca glue and activator
