Is there a way to neutralize the magnet?? I would like to neutralize the magnet first to make sure the bottom plate is it shifted and the magnets are still intact -

What type of what would be the best To seal the top plate to the magnet -

I thought it was dropped. I picked it up from someone for $20 so I could rebuild and put it in the wife's car. And what about the bottem plate? It may have moved a bit as well. What type of adhesive is used on this part of the build? -

Everything is off center. The coil was rubbing on the magnet inside. I did remove the metal that is in top of motor now. The glue broke free. Is this something that can be repaired. -

Got the first one all done. Went well I think. Started year down on the other. Here's the box I'm going with -

At first I was just prepping the cage. Sanding everything real good. Before I started the process I went online just to make sure I wasn't missing something (every speaker is different) ad saw where someone removed the spider ring in pieces. The screws were actually in from the outside of the cage. So there was no glue on the heads of them. Smart idea whoever did that. -
Did you put the screws back in the holes after or before glueing the spider down? My basket has 10 screws from the outside going in that we're holding the metal spider ring in place. And do I reuse the ring? If so when should I put it on?
