    Adding a batt or batts will deffinately help. Especially when your amps are pulling more current then your alts output capability. Doing this helps prevent dangerous voltage drops. A battery today keeps the magic smoke away

    You know what I always wanted to do is get two people that play drums well , each with his own set of drums and do a drum down if you will. Sort of a simultaneous drum colaboration I think that two sets of drums playing simultaneously in a band would be sick though imho.

    Sub frequencies are 60hz and below. Setting the dial higher will make your subs sound more punchy. Also depends on the slope per octave the crossover is removing the signal at ie. 12db,24db etc. Basiclly this is a personal preference. I usually start @ the low end and turn the dial up slow during various types music to find the blend I enjoy best
