  1. I donno bout velcro... Whats under the box? Is that yor 3rd row of seat? I'd screw the amp to back of box with secure screws(the wiered heads) And then pop your sub out and screw your box down to the bottom on the inside... Nobody getting that... Would take hella days...
  2. Ya I hear ya.. I don't like using those connectors either... You already have a fuse back there? You can't just put a longer piece after the fuse?
  3. True that if you got the wire.. More is always better!!!
  4. Yes leave the fuse up front comming off front battery pos AND fuse BEFORE your BACK batterys pos. Then just wire both back batterys together pos to pos.. neg to neg.. Then the last battery in the back wire pos and neg off to your amp(s)... You don't need to ground to the frame because you have a neg run going to front battery...
  5. Oh right cuz I called that guy a dumbass... Ha ha very funny...
  6. Pos is bigger huh.. never noticed a difference.. and who you calling a dumbass?
  7. The opening is different size? Never noticed that.. I'll check that out tomorrow
  8. Someone telling me that there's a "slight" difference between pos and neg battery terminals... I told him hes a dumbass.. Both made of same stuff.. How could it be different.. Just current... Right? Figured i'd check with you guys...
  9. Exactly what he said... I run coax + tweeter on both sets of mine... Its fine to add them right there just make sure your tweeter has a built in crossover(little tube thing on speaker wire) Or external crossover... Changes your ohm impedience, im pretty sure, 4ohm coax + 4ohm tweeter = 2ohm load... I'll check when I take deck out this week... But i'm running 4 coax + 4tweeters on deck and its fine... Sounds great much better than just coax...
  10. Good deal man... Good find..
  11. Anyways.. Ya good deal.. Good amp for the money..
  12. oh ya my bad duh so bout 1500rms same fuse rating as sundown1500
  13. Ya look at it like this.. Sundown1500 = 160a fuses... Hifonics bxi2008d = 200a fuse... sundown3000 = 300a fuse... Your 160a should be about 1500rms if not hella over rated...
  14. Would need like 200a fuse rating for 2k rms... So that amp mabie 1200-1500 at best @ 1ohm
  15. 160a in fuses not pushin 2000 rms... Looks like a decent amp tho for the price Edit: 160 not 120 DUH lol
  16. Never knew it use to be red Looks strong now.. Nice
  17. Shit I would soiter it together... Alot of soiter all the way in, around, between, ect.. Then just tape it up or shrink tube it..
  18. Your subs are never perfect on the ohms.. You'll see a 2ohm sub at 1.8 or whatever.. 4ohm sub at 3.6ohm and so on... My subs are all dvc 2ohm subs wired to 4ohms each and wired in a series for a 1ohm final load but it actually reads 1.4.. So I should just calculate it with what its suppose to be 1ohm?
  19. Ok so i know the formula and stuff but subwoofers are never right on the dot... I got 4 cvrs ran in series suppose to be @ 1ohm load but its actually a 1.4ohm load... Do i use the actually 1.4ohm in formula or still just use 1ohm which is what its suppose to be at...???? Thanks
  20. I'll beable to comment here soon.. Gettin the hookup on a alarm = ) Soon as its back in stock eh
  21. Did we establish price on subs picked up? = )
  22. Ya how much without box? And/or whats the demensions of box? A buddy is lookin for some...
