toggle switch worked, amp is slam min sounds good .

yes the remote on the amp is the problem, for some reason it's not switching on and off with the remote from the radio. the other amp and my audio control matrix is but it's not .

i did tap the power wire and that did work, did that be for wiring up the relay. thats why i'm wondering if i should just hook up a toggle switch, the relay didn't work.

found a wiring diagram on 12 volt.com hooked up the relay amp is still having same problem. should i try putting the 3k on it's own switch like a toggle or should i just send it back for warranty? i seriously never had this problem be for, all my other equipment kicks on, the other amp and my matrix and when i unplug the remote wire and plug it back in the 3k kicks on and plays like a champ but when i turn my system off i cant get it to kick back on i'm stuck any ideas.

how do i wire this relay, help please fighting day light.

ran out of light tonight, i'm gonna check the voltage on the deck in the morning and see where it's at. what type of relay do i buy if thats the issue never had to use one be for?

just finished installing my new amps, but having a problem with my remote turn on. amps are 1 crescendo audio 3kw p and a crescendo audio 1000c4, now i jumped the switch off of one amp to the other and my four channel kicks on no problem but my 3kw p go's into protect. if i disconnect the switch wire from the input terminal on the amp and reconnect it the amp comes on and stays on with no problem, but if i turn my radio off and try to turn it back on i have to go into the trunk and do the same thing with the wire again. not sure whats causing this? do i need a relay on the switch wire or is the problem with my radio? radio is a premier prs880, never had this problem be for.

when you get a chance swap that 4 gauge out for 0/1 wire and your big three with 0/1 as well that will help some. and as mentioned be for get yourself a better battery,if your only running 1400 rms that should fix your problem .good luck man.

yeah thanks i saw the chart and was thinking the same thing, just wanted to get some other opinions . i've never used xs but have been hearing nothing but good things about them so i figured i would give them a try. funds are tight so i want to make sure i get the rite ones the first time, thanks again man.

coming to the end of my rebuild, going to be needing some new batteries and i'm leaning two xs. my problem is i'm not sure what batteries i should be looking at. i will be running 3500 rms. i have a 300 amp iraggi alt and was thinking about using two of the 5100's one up front as a starter battery and one in the trunk. will this be enough or should i be looking at other batteries? also where do i get pricing?

man hearing things like this make me nervous, i just re conned my lvl4's with lvl5 coils. first time re conning for me as well, have not had chance to fire them up yet still working on my box.got my fingers crossed.

well i was hoping to finish my other sub, but all the stores were closed, going to have to wait until tomorrow.it's great to know that there is something local that i can pick up to finish this recone project, i was worried that i was going to have to go on line and order the rubber glue. my first time reconing anything so far so good.

so i ordered a set of recone kits for my lvl4's, long story short i don't have enough rubber glue for the surround and dust cap for the last sub. what can i use and where do i find it? is it something that auto zone or lowes would have? i would like to try and finish this recone project tonight if i could. thanks for any help ion advance.

thanks for the info, i have used the older opti line and they sounded very good for the price, just wasn't sure about these. these have the three inch coil so i was wondering how they performed, think i will give them a try .

hey guys, just was reading this thread and thought i would ask a question since it has to do with the same thing.i just got my re cone kits today same subs, my bottle of acc. has about 1/2" of liquid left in it, would this be enough to do two subs or should i buy more?might be a dumb question but i have never used the stuff be for.

no one has used or heard these ?

looking for info on these 6.5 componets, would like to hear from anyone that has used these or heard these in person. these are the the set that have the 3'' coil and the black cones, info that i read say's that they will take 250 rms. i have used the older opti 6.5's and they sounded good for the price, just not sure about these and was looking for some feedback be for i decide to buy them.
