What's your favorite brand of wire and why?

Depends on the application. If running wire from an alternator (and in an engine bay in general) I like to use a high temp insulation (150degC) and oil-resistant cable such as EXAR SFX. This is expensive, but worth it IMO.

For everywhere else in a car, I prefer KnuKonceptz (ebay store) since it is tinned OFC and some of the cheapest on the market. HOWEVER, the insulation is 105degC, so it is not suitable for extremely hot areas under the hood.

Been using the OFC Tinned Sundown stuff for a while now, and really like it better than the previous brands Ive used.
