  1. Thanks Steve! I've always been a big fan of Second Skin! Their product has never let me down and always makes a very noticeable difference! Hopefully this video can help the community learn how to really improve that mid bass response! The Luxury Liner pro is AWESOME at cutting down the road noise outside of the vehicle so nothing distracts from the audio the speakers create!
  2. It was awesome meeting you dude! Awesome pictures
  3. The industrial strength velcro worked really well for me, it was a challenge to get behind that panel, but still well worth the results!
  4. 1200 is a steal, quality products, quality fabricator, custom made pieces off injection molding tooling he had made specifically for these, that doesnt come cheap, theres a demand and he is filling it.
  5. Haha this will be fun to watch, I need to get me a project vehicle that can sit in multiple pieces while I work on it instead of a daily driver... someday...
  6. Hey guys, Can anyone help me with finding the t/s parameters and cutout i.d. mounting depth for these subwoofers? There is nothing on Sundowns site, and I am having trouble finding these anywhere else. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mark
  7. you got skills bro, probably more then me.....but i got this one. FYI: nice drawing but this thing wont have speakers of any kind in the rear deck (other then the ported 15's)....no speaker pods needed. I appreciate the offer though man! Haha no problem, just figured I would offer. The outer two parts were so you can apply bolts to hold the structure down, but then hide them with the inserts. Keep me in mind in the future if you wanna collaborate on something!
  8. I have been following this build and was wondering if there was any way I could help, I love seeing people help their buddies out, maybe I can help too. I see that rear deck and I just see a gold mine of how we can show your subscribers (and mine) the correct way that those beauty panels could have been made. Below you will see a rough idea what I was thinking. The lower wood panel would be secured to the deck, nice and solid, through the two insert panels that are to the left and the right. These insert panels would have grill fabric secured to them from behind that would then hide these fasteners. The main insert in the center would also have grill fabric affixed to it that would hide the port. All of the inserts would be molded into the bottom board with body filler formed up to the outsides. Also note that the inside of all of the inserts are chamfered for a nice looking appearance. So here is the deal, I have been following you for awhile, and have loved learning from you, maybe this is the chance to pay you back, I know you have this build under control, but I could tell at the end of the one video that its taking a lot of your valuable time to get your buddy all set, and I know how it can be doing stuff for friends for free. So if you want I would love to help you guys out. If I can get the rough dimensions off that deck, the cut out, and how far the cut out is from the rear glass and sides, I would love to fab these pieces up for you and ship it to you, I’ll take care all of the body filler etc, and do the prep work so that all you gotta do is wrap with your choice of fabric, and the mold the sides of the bottom piece to the edges of the vehicle. If you want we could even make it over sized so that you could cut it down to match once you have it in house. Either way I know you have seen my videos, so you know its going to look good! It would also be an interesting topic as “YouTubers” to collaborate together on. Let me know what you think bro! Mark
  9. Never seen the tractor before, I will have to get one!
  10. You could also determine what resistance the amp is seeing by taking a voltmeter and putting it on the ohm mode. Honestly this is a tool you should invest in if you are going to take this hobby seriously.
