I didn't like them because I think phillips is just easier. I said bad thing about phillips is cause they strip easy. But mostly cause of people using cordless drills instead of screw drivers. Allen is bar way better at not stripping, to a extent, but they will strip. I just don't like the fact you have to keep up with 2 extra pieces, if you want to mess with your amp. Just a preference, nothing more.

Is the 175.4 1ohm stable?

Anywhere from 120db-155db. Depends all on the install/vehicle. But as far as comparing to your friends, we have no idea how loud he is. So its hard to say.

One 15 and the AQ1200d would be nice. As I don't think the amp is big enough for 2 12s.

Some companies bass knobs doesn't allow the gain setting to be moved, no matter how far you turn up the knob. Example, wide open on the knob=the gain setting. I'm not sure if all companies apply to this.

Is the protect light on? Or is power light on? But if you have the RCA's unhooked and noises is coming out, that usually isn't good.

Personally, if somebody is close on their sentence structure, it doesn't matter to me. Fact is, I know I don't use perfect English. But no punctuation, no capital letters, and horrible miss spelling, I won't even read it.

Not terrible, but now start testing. I bet you have a 150 in that setup. Go move seats,visors, other little details.

Fixmyspeaker.com isn't a buildhouse. They simply recones sub. Also, a few years ago, RD Audio claimed to wind there own coils. But it turned out to be a lie. But youtube the how its made, loudspeaker. There is a short clip in that video of a voicecoil being made. But IMO, its not as easy as pie. And going to a coil buildhouse would be simpler, and cost less. Precision Ecowound(spelling) is one of the best coil makers I believe. There's another one, a sister company that Precision but I can't think of its name.

There's nothing wrong with AQ, they have good quality, and isn't really a downgrade from Crossfire. A lot of people run AQ amps and love them.

I wish I could get my hands on those new BMF1700s, I hear they do 3k plus. That's a helva underrating. Plus, I see they have a 8500 RMS amp. I actually like Crossfire as a mainstream brand. Their XS series subs(all of them) are awesome. I doubt you can get Crossfire as cheap as AQ though.

What does your factory speakers have to do with your subs? Sure your music will suffer, but the bass should be just fine.

No, that won't effect the subs. People do this all the time.

He has it wired to .25ohms though. As I assume, the output terminals are internally bridged like most are.
