(yes ford302 i also think xD) good info That's because sensitivity is measured at 1000hz, so if it's lower it sometimes means it will play louder down low.(higher is the opposite like you have mentioned ) Yes, I think he did also.     IMO, you need +3 4inch ports. Two is going to choke that sub.

    Just cause it has two inputs doesn't mean its two amps.. Yes, each sub parallel is to .5ohms. Then parallel that and its at .25ohms.

    I took a look at the guts, and it doesn't look like two amps internally strapped. Also if you have dual 1s, you can either wire them to 4ohm,1ohm or .25 ohms. You can't wire them to .5ohms.

    Not true. You have to think of speaker placement. Cause if its wrong, it could caused unloading issues, and also decrease SPL. But mainly, the unloading issue, which in turn you have a uncontrollable sub, that will reach the mechanical limits, and maybe cause it to fail prematurely.

    You want the sub as far away from the beginning port inside the box as possible.

    I found some info, walmart has eggcreate that's used to put under sleeping bags. Supposedly pretty cheap. And doesn't hold moisture. Now I just have to find it.

    Yeah, each amp seeing .25 isn't healthy. Some people swear its fine, but I don't like the extra strain it puts on the components.
