my friends have had boss amps in the past and they worked pretty good. and i need a cheap amp so i figured it was better than getting a vr3 or a jensen. so i guess now i gotta get a dual when i get a refund. unless theres a good bridgeable amp i can get for like 50 or 60 I was gave a vr3 200 watt amp back in 2004 or so. Wasn't a terrible amp. Lifetime warranty. Buy a new one, take the old one back to Walmart. Get your money back. I ran mine at 2ohm Bridged, it never cut off, until it finally fried, then it was back to get another one. But these days, I'd rather save my money a little longer and get a quality amp.

If he wants to run a AQ2200d, the BL will take the power better. But if he running a sealed box, BL will not work.

Flatwind is the type of wire on the coil. Universal is so you can recone your sub later to a different coil configuration. A dual1 has to be reconed a dual1. And a dual2 has to be reconed a dual2. Unless you get universal.

Everything u stated, Sundown is sold in other countries. A lot of competitors sure Sundown. That's not a big leading factor IA has over Sundown.... I might be wrong, but I don't see it. Actually IMO Sundown grew faster than IA, is online is more known, and actually as a whole. Like I said, I could be wrong, but to me. That's what I think. Which I have nothing against IA. I just needed to add this.

You also have to consider IA has been in business a few years more than IA I am but for a while IA only had 1 amp, then 2 amps. Then there was a while with none. Now they have 3?

I just so happen to have some 3500's for sale. I owned the previous mc4kw and the mc1.4000 and all I have to say is My sundown 3500 cost less and performed better. My 1.4000 cut off even at 1ohm. Both the 4kw and the 1.4000 got smoking hot quick. The gain knob didn't even work right on the 1.4000. I dont know where you are finding them for that price either. I sold my 1.4000 for 800+shipping USED!!!!! Have you seen the price of these things new? I also heard, the old Sundown 3000d was louder than the Memphis 4kw in most cases.

I still don't believe it. I'm on more than this forum. IA seems to sell a good bit of subs, but new amps? I haven't seen a whole lot. I know the original 20.1 was a pretty big seller, but still I think Sundown has sold more amps than IA.

when it says 2200 x 1 is that rms? or max Ole Lord. I smell major noob. No real respectful company rates at MAX.

Are you planning on running 2 AQ 2200d's on one BL? That would be double what I would recommend. 1 2200d would be a perfecr match.
