usually 1 can is good for 2 normal taillights, or 1 if you want it really dark i'd guess about 3-5 cans depending on how dark you want to go, do multiple thinner layers and keep going till you're satisfied and dont do the headlights, it cuts the light down sooooo much, even with hid's or highs you wont see diddly, and will def get a ticket.

i've heard both like in the same spec box (their box requirements are near identical) off the same amp, and they are pretty much the same, but neither one is very loud. unless you really need something that works in a box that size use a real sub.

save up repair cash.... my one friend got 22's on his (98 2-door)blazer, over the summer went through 4 rotors, 6 sets of pads, and basically a whole new front end, those little trucks dont like the big shoes apparantly he was dumb enough to take it on the beach, it was basically totaled after that and he got a maxima. But be mad careful, its a lot of strain on those little bits and pieces, especially in the front end.

can do what i do (this was pre-system...complaints from gopeds and dirtbikes and mopeds and stuff start your lawnmower, park it at the edge of your property closest to them, and go watch a movie, leave it out there all day park a leafblower and motorcycle with straight pipes next to it for good measure IF the cops come, say they were in storage and you're getting new fuel through them, besides, its all legal, and be as nice as fuckin pie to the cops as soon as they leave start it all up again our noise ordinance is 9pm-9am no noise extending past the bounds of your property, which we respect to the fullest, but shit, sometimes at like 3 in the afternoon on a saterday, you just have to cut a piece of wood and when the cops come for noise, you want to just piss that little fuck off, being civil doesnt work, so we took on some acoustic terrorism recently had to remind the guy too...just this time there was like 8 subwoofers and a couple powerhorns involved, apparantly the guy doesnt like cam'ron

output will be decreased by how much, its hard to say, could be a db, could be 3.... then again, it may be louder, who the hell knows? -

thats why you (usually) are able to put something in quotes to only match the exact pgrase, so "dc level 3" would onle return results that had "dc level 3" written out like that, not every post that contained 'dc comics', 'dc current', ' i beat level 3 of mario', etc.... if someone could change that, it would be nice edi: remembered something a friend showed me go to google type in what you want, say "dc level 3" (with or without caps, wtvr, just anything the smd search doesnt like) put in a space and then"site:http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com" (without quotes) it uses google's crawler to search only this site for the term you specified, pretty neat huh? -
i really cant think of a single sub amp that isn't 4 ohm stable, or doesn't have some sort of LPF anything made by any name brand company, and most every reputable off-brand company (diablo/dc/audioque/sundown/cactus sounds/DD/us amps/etc) should have the features you need post up the amp you have, preferably a shot that includes the side with all the little adjustment knobs on it, i'm sure someone will point out which one is an LPF

32-34 is a safe bet, when you tune higher (like 38/40/42) you gain the potential to be louder, at the expense of playing lower (more fun IMO) notes, and usually ends up being peakier. tuning super low, like 28 hz, gives you a very flat(within reason) relatively quiet box, with the ability to play any note you will find in music without a problem, but you do lose out on loudness. there's always exceptions, try your 33/34 design and change it if it turns out you really dont like it. I personally kind of like my 43hz tuning, but some other car's i've heard tuned that high sounded like garbage. edit: your tuning point isnt necessarily where it is loudest, it is technically the lowest frequency you can go before the subwoofer is no longer loaded by the air in the enclosure/port so tuning lower will make the lower notes louder in camparison, but really it because a higgher tuned box can't play them well (or at all), but even if one box is 30 hz and the other is 40, they both can play 50 the same theoretically

i mean, i know i'm comfortable enough with my airsoft guns to hit bottles/can from 20 feet without using the sights, just by feel of the gun and do the same thing with paintball guns (sight down the barrel kinda), real rifles, real handguns too why the hell would you ever want to draw attention to yourself with a bright ass laser (which as cool as it looks is rarely as accurate as iron sights even) or a flashlight? i get the blinding thing, but i know as soon as i saw someone light up the room next to me, i'd definately get myself in a position to have the advantage (and for real, get some friends over and have like a tactical airsoft fight in your house, i've never had so much friggin fun in my entire life, we covered/hid everything that could be damaged and had a like 4 on 4 fight, if you're looking for home protection it will give you a good idea of how someone else would move through your house, or how you should...and be prepared to break out the shopvac for a while afterwards to get all them bb's, we had like 2000 laying around when it was all said and done)
