SSL 9000J great console SSL Matrix is okay if your mixing, and want the SSL sound and brand name SSL AWS 900 great console, and very flexible for its size.... Not worth the $80k price tag, or how ever much it is tho SSL Duality.......... GOD LIKE!

ah yea the higher the Q the "sharper" the range of freq that you are boosting/attenuating will be

yea 50hz would be the center freq. If you set the Q to 1 it will effect more the the surrounding freq... a Q of 3 will have a sharper "spike" What eq are you running?
