i just watched EXOcontralto video on how to upgrade it, but i didnt get the part with negative side. so i will need 2 wire going from negative side, one to ground and other one to "- Engine block to ground" what's the engine block?

Hey guy's right now i'm running JBL bp300.1 and 10" audiobahn but soon i will upgrade my amp to ~1000 rms. (not sure which one yet) my question is when do i need to upgrade my alt and add another battery?
