Hi I just installed my new SAE-50.4 today it played for about 30 seconds and went into protect. I turned it off and it now just goes into protect instantly with no speakers or rca's connected to it. I am running all sky high car audio 1/0 OFC for my power and grounds also 4 guage OFC also all sky High rca's.

get the morimoto mini they are very good i did them on my 2005 kia spectra5 about a year ago you just pull the headlight lense off i used a heat gun to heat the glue up. they plug right in to the bulb socket just make sure to put some plastic epoxy over the nut after all tightend up so the projectors dont ever come loose. also with these projectors theres no having to level the cut off line since they go right into the bulb socket. you will just have to aim your lights after. also get the h1 bulbs if you order them since the projectors wont use ur h4 bulbs. http://www.theretrof...roducts_id=3181 i would also recommend getting some butyl glue to reseal your lense and to make sure you wont have any water leaking in again not really needed but i did it just to be safe and not have to pull them apart again http://www.theretrof...products_id=792

It's a year 2000 suburban

i have a family member that there suburban wont start. the first problem was the truck wouldn't start. someone replaced the ignition relay and it started then after it wouldn't start. then another guy removed the factory alarm and replaced the ignition harness and now it wont start the ignition relay clicks when fuel pump first starts and stops and the start relay clicks when you try cranking it but dont start. can some please help if they know what can be wrong?

can someone photoshop this truck i want it lowered with some nice 24" rims and make the truck flat black color and get rid of the rear bumper and the door handles and sideview mirrors and tint the windows. also if you can take out the oil catch pan thats under it LOL it has a small oil leak. thanks

Just a small update the system is pretty much finshed gonna do the big3 today and it's done. This system has impressed me it gets down and sounds so clear we bought Boston mids and highs. I was gonna change the tunning to 35hz but I think the 30hz tune is getting down good so I'm gonna leave it. I'm on my iPhone rightnow so can't post the pics or vids yet but I will have them up later after I finsh the big3 we don't have any bad voltage drops at idle it goes from 14.2 to about 13.9 and when driving it stays at 14.0. To anyone that's looking at doing a buget system don't be afraid of using alpine type e's they can get down in the right box.

small update i received my oscope today ill be using it to tune the system. we also got a Clarion EQS746 since it does 7v and is nice. i should have the system done this weekend and ill see how my cam is on vids.

thanks oh forgot to add i did through some 4gauge power wire on it today just to power everything up and make sure we didnt receive a bad amp. took a little listen to it and it hit good was making the ac control knobs and shit fall off the system wasn't tuned yet waiting for my oscope and all the 0awg wire upgrade before we mess with it to much.

i have been waiting to post this but i thought since im almost done with it ill post a little bit about it and show some pics. this is more of a upgrade than new install. my friend had 2 type e's with a box i made him that was ported and tuned @35hz it sounded good but he wanted more. he dont make alot of money so since he already had 2 type e's i told him get 2 more and new amp wiring etc. he was running a dual amp total POS with all 8gauge wire good old bestbuy install :01nocomment8so: well now i am upgrading all his power wire etc to 0awg and doing the BIG 3 for him. so he bought 2 more 12" alpine type e's and a Crunch GPV 2000.1 amp i tried to talk him into getting a Hifonics BXi 1210D instead but he didn't want to all the wiring is gonna be knuconceptz 0awg wire. the new box i built is 8cubes net with 111.00 square of port tuned to 30.82hz. oh and the truck this is going into is a 99 f-150 extra cab. well heres some pics we are still waiting on the wire to get here and a line driver and my oscope. yea i know 2 of the subs are older models but im trying to get my friend to buy 2 more new ones and sell off the old ones. i will post more pics/vids once i get more to post. the blue kia spectra5 u see in the backround in the pics is mine i bought it in 2005 new and still rockin the stock system. a build for that car will come after this hot summer prob do some DC lvl4's or xl's. i got out of car audio when i moved to arizona back in 2004 from california. also another reason i got out of car audio for awhile is a got in to another expensive hobby saltwater reef fish tanks.

thats a badass celica right there. one of my friends had a datsun 510 with a turbo charged buick grand national motor in it and that thing was fast.

you need to put 49"in the width under (the box outer dimensions) also you need to change the (slot port dimension height) to 22.5" instead of 21" in Amatt85's box calc spreadsheet thats the things i see wrong. the lvl 4 18's on dc site say cubes should be suggested ported 5.75³ ft suggested SPL ported 8³ ft the box design looks good
