I dont have the cash to pay someone to design me a box, i have cash just no ecash i.e. paypal, no way to get it onto paypal, so I guess I will just have to aim for 8 cubes, and whatever sq. inches of port area with a slotted port

Yeah but i wouldn't know what would sound best, and im not building three different boxes just to see what sounds best

Thank you, well I guess next week will be the start of a box build, i hope, what do u reccomend, 1" for the hell of it or 3/4", and birch or MDF, and aero ports or slot port, and how can i use the outside dimensions of my box to figure up the inside cubes or whatever, im new to building boxes

Okay, so as it stands I have 4 MTX Jackhammer 12's. 125-250RMS 500MAX They are in seperate ported boxes b/c that is all that i had at the moment, and they are being run off 2 insignia 1000/2's, a speaker per channel, so they are getting maybe 250RMS a piece. What I need is some suggestions, on how I can get them louder, they sound good as of now and all, but i want it louder, so would I need 1 single ported box, or 1 single sealed, or bigger amp/amps, monoblock, 4 channel, i'm open for all suggestions, and some critcism if its not to harsh lol All this is in a '97 Toyota 4 Runner

I got stock door speakers, and tweeters in my 4 Runner with no amp, and it sounds really good for stock until u get it above a volume level of 22, which 22 is pretty loud on my radio, but i guess it depends on ur opinion of a nice clean sound

Ah, did u play on the hardest difficulty or medium or easy, I beat it on the normal, and then went back and beat it on the hardest, screw easy, easy is for the faint of heart

I guess it only took you 5 hours to beat it cause u just played it straight through, I didnt sit and try and beat it in one night, i took my time and tried to collect all the weapons and get most of the achievements i could, im in no way trying to diss u though so please take no offense

I will check my amps and speakers once a day every day, to just make sure the arent over heating or, starting to smell or the box isnt moving around on me, but i will check under the hood and behind the radio once a month, or less

All in all I respect the dub 7's, a guy with 2 10W7's almost blew my 4 12's outta the water, keyword almost. I like the W7's great SQ IMO, but if you gon hate atleast get yo info straight ya dig? lol

Save up a bunch of money get a duramax swap, and convert it to one of the grease burners, i mean its an idea for gas prices/towability

If your wanting specs for a custom box, find someone on here in the subwoofers/enclosures thread that will come up with a design for you, thats what i did when iw as gonna get 2 l7 15's had someone design a box for me using google sketch up, all you gotta do is give them the dimensions of your trunk, and what size your subs are, what power your pushing etc..

Okay I got it dude, but when i said i had everything else all the way down, i meant like the LPF on the amp, not like the bass on the radio or anything, the bass on the radio was all the way down, but the Sub control was all the way up

Yeah its two sealed, and two ported, thats all the boxes i had, but i mean it slams, even now with my 2 cheap ass 1000/2's on em but i mean with 2 sealed 2 ported it hits the highs hard as HELL, rattles everything in my 4 runner and like 5 feet around it, and the ported box helps it hit the lows like crazy, but im worried about smothering the 2 in the sealed, so i unno it sounds good for now and thank god for a 1 year warranty on the subs lol, and there was a ground but i ripped it out to cut the amp off it wouldnt cut off even with the radio off
