  1. i doubt its going to do a big dampening difference as well but if it has similar charts then it may slighly lower output on a sub box. prob not by much and nothing you can hear but good to know for the spl meter guys
  2. hey jon have you tested spectrum on mdf to see if it does anything?
  3. ive used it and it sucks as far as bed liner. and as far as sound dampening not going to do much either. you can do what you want with your car but know thats going to be 99% visual 1% function
  4. first off second skin is a company not a product. the second skin damplifier you are speaking of doesnt block anything other then slight thermal resistance. It is a vibration dampener so it stops the metal from vibrating thus stopping it from making noise. Even if you think you dont need it at all its a good idea to go with a bare bones install on the flat, big panels and cover with 100% lux liner pro
  5. + = still need to do the rears but so far so good like the improvement

  7. lol nah u prob wont have to replace shocks unless u go crazy
  8. i meant for team HT i know he was jk but you can be loud and still enjoy deadener... just expect to replace shocks frequently
  9. yes sir... ya damp pro can help trim panel rattling but in most cases really wont. overkill on the other hand when applied properly does wonders against that rattling
  10. lol urs just sounded smarter and was more thorough... so brownie points for starting to reply first
  11. id say overkill would be a better option to fight the trim pannels but damn pro might might help too llp would be great to stop exahst drone but id go with vibration dampener such as damp pro as well just 10-25%
  12. define actually loud... my car hit a 149.7 on the TL outlaw but when closed full tilt on music u could hear the mids more predominantly
  13. to be honest all i needed was some overkill on the part where the trunk lid/bumper come close which i did put but i also did the old damp pro and the old SPL plate bc why not
  14. yup i did bc mine was rattling some after adding the bass... mine wasnt bad thou but the 300s are. just hope u dont have to but if u do just gotta tackle it
  15. i know thats why i said it i knew u were joking
  16. no on the 300s when u add bass the rear bumper rattles... the plastic bumper cover
  17. lol hell ya i was jk... ur fine 1sop pack of damp pro isnt going to hurt ur suspension
  18. just make sure to only date anorexic chicks
  19. ya those bars have absolutely no structural support at all...
  20. all i gotta say is i hope that that car is built better then the 300 because if it isnt then u got a uphill battle and ur going to need to remove at least the rear bumper
  21. right but on ur trunk lid it would be easy to do and easy to test with trial and error. just play music see what rattles apply ss then repeat until satisfied. as far as the rest of the car then ya u just gotta apply and hit the area and see how "dead" it sounds i would do the trunk lid last after the system is installed
