Help With Running Wires
The Performer replied to enemyofsilence's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
That all looks great man, but next time you might wanna use all black UV resistant zipties and wire tiedowns. I say next time, and I hope for your sake there is no next time, but most likely after a few summers those will get brittle and break. -

High School Pranks
The Performer replied to BigPimpin91's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Just have a few guys pick up the front end and stand up two cinderblocks under the axles, then move on to the back and do the same. Then that lil truck will just be stuck off the ground, lol. -

Someone has that disorder like the dude on superbad that draws penis' all the time... Goofy bastards... -
That's what you get for trying to get a quality product from them. You gotta be smart to actually get a good deal from HF. If it's something you're just gonna use once or throw away items then it's good, but if you're trying to get good quality stuff, it's not gonna happen. Wrenches and stuff you're probably gonna break and waste your money. Chip brushes on the other hand you're gonna just throw away after the first time you use them.

I was thinking the same thing, "what the hell is that dude talking about friction..." Think of your voice coil as a resistor. Technically that's what it is. Anything that resists the flow of electricity is going to create a change of energy in the form of heat.
-
It's your voice coils in the subs that are getting warm. It's normal for any mechanical electronics to give off a little heat. Think of them like your engine in your car, you want them to warm up a little before they will be performing at their best. Just don't over power them or they can get REALLY warm and hot and can damage them.

Dead Dreams - Album I Produced
The Performer replied to 98Tahoe's topic in Tunez - All things music related
I like that track you put up as a demo, I'm gonna go try it out in my truck here in a little while. Man btw, you commented about my video of the titanic bass mix, haha, dude that track is the bomb what were you thinking when you decided to make that? -
Alot of times the subs wont say what wattage ratings are on the sub itself. What kind of subs are they, if you can get the model number then you can find out the specs. As for amps I see you're looking for multi channel amps in your other thread. Why not just go with a mono block? Alot of multichannels wont be bridgeable as they are more geared for component speakers and such.

Team Dc Audio! Whats Your System?
The Performer replied to Projekt AI's topic in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!
Forgot to add, I got a new pic with the box all clean and shiny, as well as a quick video. -
Small subs+seat lift+ass cushion bracing+lots of creativity... Yeah it could be done. Get enough volume in the box for the subs, downfire them and leave enough of a gap between the floor and sub and actually I think it'd sound pretty damn good as well.

How big is the plexi? If it's manageable size then just go ahead and find someone with a drill press and use the press. That way you can control it alot better and you would be WAY less likely to screw it up. Just take it slow and take breaks because the drill bit will get hot and start to melt the plastic at where you're drilling and look like crap at the hole. Nothing difficult here, just take your time and go easy at it.

Quick Way To Save Moneys
The Performer replied to Chode69's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Chode I think you've just answered the economic crisis dude, that is a BOMB Idea! But what do you do about the sugar then? Shit just hit me... DUH, they've got sugar packs at the table! So you're getting a free glass, water, AND sugar. All you really gotta buy is the koolaid mix. Genius my friend. I do similar at the movie theaters, I'm a slender guy so I can fit cans of bee... *SODA*... in my back pants pocket and then you don't have to spend 8 goddamn dollars on a drink at the food counter. Movies are a ripoff. -

Speaking of the member info box... What the hell are those little 3 squares under our names? -
Silicone would work, but I wouldn't use it for the plain fact that if you ever want to open it back up for anything it'll just be a pain in the ass to separate the two. And also now you've got silicone fumes in there with your subs eating away the glue on the subs. Just go with the weatherstripping and be safe then sorry.

Damn I almost forgot about this song! My older sisters used to have all this music when it first came out so as a very young kid I was introduced into the world of rap. I guess that's why I turned out the way I am. Gonna go bumb that song tonight!
