  1. Should make a little noise. Looking great, have fun with those back speakers
  2. the reason why is cause that is called perpetual motion, just cant be accomplished.
  3. Need a bigger hammer. Since the ball joint is already dislodged from the lower control arm get a bigger hammer, or you can also remove the spindle and take it to a shop with a press and press it out.
  4. Getting there. also, dunno if your buddy is going to be putting a sub system in, but the peak frequency in mine is 41hz. Just a future reference if he wants to go for spl
  5. I myself have a 94 maxima. I also did some lower door panels on mine. Those doors are freaking easy to do. Just unscrew the lower portion of the panel, and trace it out and glass. But why 6x9's? I did mine for 6.5" comps. Its a bitch to feed the wires through the doors, have fun with that. If you need some help with box ideas I have built a couple. Doing a new one tomorrow. Dunno if it will fit though. Also, take off that back cardboard thing behind the back seat. Allows for a lot more sound to come through into the cabin.
  6. You say that you are going to be upgrading your system in the future. What is the time frame, next month, year, how long? If its not going to be in the next couple of months, I wouldn't really worry about getting a upgraded alternator. Get a second battery and put it in the back. That should suffice for the time leading up to your future upgrades, and at that point, you can get a bigger alternator. 1000 watts is not much, I myself am running close to 2000 watts on a stock 90 amp alt and a yellow top in the rear (soon to be replaced) and didn't have light dim when I have regular halogens in. If there is an option for a little bigger factory style alternator for that engine, might want to go with that also to save yourself some money. That is what I would do.
  7. Yea just a little upgrade. This box is not going to be in for KOSC. You will see what is going to be in there, should be a little louder. Most likely have a nice 15" sub up, port back box for sale soon.....
  8. I'll try and get a vid tomorrow. I have work from 11 to 7ish tomorrow night. So if I am able to get one, it will need to be in the morning, and I am not a morning person. I'll see if I can get some demos tomorrow also.
  9. Want to donate one? Jk Yes I do, or I need to get off my lazy ass and get one. Would have made my job a lot easier.
  10. Nice clean cuts, just like a real box is supposed to be. All painted and installed into the trunk with the sub Using bolts and wing nuts as speaker terminals. Much easier to be able to switch up the ohms loads if need be Didn't get a picture of it, but the sundown amp is on top of the box above the port. Here is the back where the mids and highs amp is. Powerbass asa 400.4 running a pair of Powerbass 3xl's. The pods are not the greatest. I know that. But they get the job done for now. Getting a new car by the end of the month most likely. Tell me what you think, good or bad. Thanks for looking. Vids in the next few days.
  11. Here is a quick vid also http://www.youtube.com/user/guitar1111111 Put some resin on the piece due to the holes being there to be able to secure it without cracking the wood. Made it nice and smooth.
  12. Trying to fit a 15" sub into the trunk of a 94 Maxima is no easy task. Ended of going sub up and port back on driver side. I would have loved to do sub forward port forward, but I really didn't want to build the box in trunk. I have the skills and the ability to do it, but I didn't want to go through that hassle right now. Here is what was in here before 2 12" shallow mount pioneers on a Sundown SAE 1200. It did a 135.5 at 41 hz. now here comes the fun part
  13. Treo wanted to see if he could break this piece of mdf over the back of my leg, so we tried it, it hurt for a while http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ev5STP09T_Q
  14. new box for my maxima check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VmT1e3Bim4c
  15. that's deff unique dude, gunna be a cool show too, never seen that before
  16. i'm glad most of team socalspl got to hear that in vegas along with your tahoe of course, that thing was nasty loud (louder with door open) and SUPER low.. was shaking the entire hotel
  17. It would not really matter if he is going to be running them at 2 ohms each or 1 ohm each. From what I can see, and same with Neo is that he is going to be running 1 2500 to each coil. It still going to be pulling some good current. I also agree with Neo on running atleast 2 300 amp alts, or the biggest ones that will fit on your engine. Your also going to want to get as many batteries that you can get and fit into your ride. What car is this going into by chance? edit: Some replies came while I was typing my reply. But I'm still going with what I said edit 2: Your in Mammoth, damn my grandparents and my aunt live in Bishop. I go up there atleast once a year. Should meet up sometime if you dont mind.
  18. That sucks about the DWI plate man. Hopefully you get everything figured out. P.s I'm also a delivery driver for Dominos. Small world
  19. No we didnt thanks treo, i lost a fan now..... thanks dick lol Sorry Joe, I couldnt get out of it, im suprised i was able to get a hand up there to cover the lips Thats not wat you did earlier in the night when he kissed you on the cheek. You have NO idea brotha.
  20. It might be easier and cheaper to have the seats upholstered to match the styling of the CTS-V seats. Granted they wont be CTS-V seats, but will look proportionate to the vehicle.
