    what size alt do you have? how many alts do you have? that also helps, have you ran your power wires in 0/1 ? all that comes into play as well, im running 1 3k rms amp and a 400 rms amp to my mids and highs and i have nice voltage drop after 2~ min of heavy pounding and thats with 2 hc2400s and a hc1400 up front. look into a high output alternator and a batt for the back or 2 and you wont have any problems imo.

    nothing in the back, he said he was wondering if the 2 batts would be enough... i say put a ground in the back and get another batt or 2 back there and ground them thru that then run the pos from up front to them! *but im not sure if thats effective or not but thats how i have mine

    do you want to really bang the lows or are you going for higher SPL #s because tuning lower then that will bang the lows nicely !

    1. 2 18" DC audio level 5s... OR 4 15" level 4 XLs from DC *forum at the bottom 2. DDz2lv like robert said 3. DB linc alternators... forum at the bottom 4. Kicker wire.. or equilivent 5. kinetik is my choice cuz i like them, 1400 upfront and 2 x 2400s in the back 6. 1 inch MDF 7. big 3 upgrade in all 1/0 wire !

    ive owned the lvl 4 with lvl 5 coils and now the lvl 4 XL and i say the XLs can take a beating all day long and never give up ! mine still arnt broken in yet *only had them for 3 days now* turned it up a few times and its considerably louder then my reg lvl 4s ! and they are still stiff ! i say go for the XL!

    they need the dimensions of your back area to build you up a box, thats what they will ask for *im not any good whatsoever at that stuff so i cant help* but giving you some advice, measure your back area and post it up

    Rusty is the man, i got my 2 15" XLs today, he even sent me a birthday present! *was a DC T shirt!* but they are really beefy, i went from lvl 4 with lvl 5 coils... to the XL and they have roughly 10 min of playtime and turned it up once to see... and its louder then the 4s by far...!

    what car are you working with? how is your wires ran? battery bank? 2 RF 4ks would do nicely on 4 of them, 2 DAT 2500.1s would work as well or 4.... but i hear people are putting 4k on each XL but i wouldnt attempt that since those guys have been doing this for years !

    im in the process of breaking in 2 15" level 4 XLs and let me tell you, i can already tell these things are monsters compared to my old level 4s w/ level 5 coil... i say give DC a shot ! and rusty is awesome check out the DC forum at the bottom and read thru alot of the posts! ALOT of useful information down there man!
