I was actually listening to this when I seen this thread haha. I've never heard of him before but Hopsin posted him up. I like him alot. The other songs I clicked on were pretty good. The video editting was fantastic. And idk, maybe I have a quick ear but I could understand most of what he said. I didn't know we had anyone on here that listened to Hopsin.

You won't be disappointed if you already like his music. It's good to see that other people still do buy music man. I always try to buy albums if I can. That's not to say that I don't download music because I do, but I still usually go buy the album afterwards. I'm not sure if i'm different or what, because I prefer the physical cd rather than downloading it from Itunes. So I bought the J Cole album from Best Buy with some RewardZone Gift Cards right. And I also have a Napster account and got accredited 2 album worth of points; So I bought 2 more J Cole albums lol. Ya I know pretty dumb, but w/e they were all free basically anyways. And now I got a CD for in the car, a copy on my computer, and I gave the other download to my friend.

Anyone got any input on the J Cole album that dropped yesterday? I personally love it. Ive been waitin so long for this to drop, and it didn't fail to amaze. You don't see many upcoming rappers show this perspective on things. He don't rap about the positives of dealing drugs or any of that . He paints pictures that are so vivid and real, that you actually think they're fake, because this point of view isn't shown very often. Today most music about living in the hood, puts off a more "uplifting" feel and makes you want to do what they do. If he sticks to his style, I honestly think he is going to be up there with the Rap legends. Some people will disagree but its all good. Any one got any thoughts on his debut album? I don't think it could have gotten much better for a FIRST album. Look at other rappers first album, alot of them flopped.

Gucci/Waka album is out already i believe. Game - RED album is out. And is definitely NOT garbage. But to each their own. We all got different tastes.

haha I knew that, just had a brain fart. I'll pick up Tha Carter IV just because I have all his albums and his Carter series are all good, but alot of his new stuff is pretty shitty. I personally liked the Rebirth, but his latest mixtape "Sorry 4 The Wait" was horrible, 1 maybe 2 "ok" songs. He needs to get back to Tha Carter II style, that was hot stuff, but that's not where the money is, so we'll never see that again :/ TM:103 shall be real good. Another street banger. I dont think it will get much radio play at all tho. Not like Recession did. Hopefully itll have bass like his other TM albums, cause this forum will have half his album sales lol. I was also waiting for the Ace Hood album to drop, and i just got done listening to it and it is good as hell IMO. His mixtape "Body Bag" went hard as hell, but the album actually says true things. Curious to hear what your guy's most anticipated mixtape or album is. That is dropping before the end of the year. Mine would be J Cole. Been waiting forEVER for this album. Should go hard. Next would be Game's R.E.D. album. Alot of the other people I listen to have already dropped or wont be dropping this year. Also cant forget Jeezy's TM: 103 and the mixtape that is supposed to drop prior to the album drop.

The tech album is kind of old. But only reason I say that is because I live music and try to keep up with what comes out everyday. And ALOT has come out since then, BUT im still bumpin the Tech album daily, as it its hella good. And yes I do buy most of my music. I also download alot of albums, but usually end up going and buying them So call it what you want. And I feel this song fits the context of this thread at the moment. haha. I've heard of some poeple having problems, but i've done it with success Next time I think i'll use something like one of these tho. Anyone have any experience with this type of Anti-Vibe mount? I like this kind cause you could mount them to the box via T-nuts, and mount the amp to them with a torx or some uncommon bolt head. (added theft protection. If they want it, they'll get it tho )

I have a Mac, but you can do it on a PC. I got 7500 songs that I just make an "image" of. On a Mac I just use the DiscUtility it came with, but on a PC I believe "IMGBurn" will do it. All the image does is make 1 ISO file off all your music/folders. That way you everything stays together and you just worry about one file. Then when you need to use it, you just extract it via WinRar and voila. Its pretty painless. I'm not sure if IMGBurn does it, but some Image Makers will compress the image so it isn't as large to store.

Hey Guys, I go to Wyotech for Automotive Technology, and I was recently accepted into BMW Step. I will be starting January 10 in NJ. BMW step seems to be a pretty awesome school for BMW's; Have any of you guys gone or heard from anyone that has gone there? I just want a little input about it. I can respect that man. I'd hate to put time/effort into someone, to turn out that its not gonna even happen. And we seem very much alike. Anything that I have much interest in, I focus the hell out of it. Can't get it out of my head lol. Hell, I just got into the BMW Step program (BMW specific - paid schooling), which alone shows im not your average kid lol. But besides all that, I'm trying to sell my frame and bed for my s10 within the next two weeks. Then ill be ordering the subs. Otherwise i'll wait a month or so. Ill post pics for sure! It'll be like christmas, except i never got anything this great for christmas. lol

Ok sweet. I knew that for slot ports, just wasnt sure if it was the same for aero. I think i might have somethin that'll work. I was thinkin 8" ports, but i cant find 8" ports anywhere to buy. I didnt look extremely hard but from what i did look, i seen up to 6". Ill punch in some numbers tho to see if that'll work better. I think it shall. I can always find a way to make an aero port. I know what you mean man. Im not dreaming tho, this is happening. Its not like its gonna be done tomorrow. Im hopin to buy the subs themselves in a month or so. Then im gonna talk to Iraggi again to see if he can make me 2 of his 380a alts, and 1 250a. Then batteries, then amps. I can definitely build the system. Im an excellent woodworker. My problem is the tuning part. Im at this stage right now, because I want to make sure I can fit 3 18's in there. And still be able to drive the truck lol (im a tall guy). If i cant fit them in there and maintain a decent amount of airspace, im going to rethink the system. Probably go with either 2 18's or 3 15's. But i definitely understand where you're coming from man. But i could build this setup using a slot port, but I want to try Aero. And yah i may look/sound dumb asking these basic questions, but i'd rather ask than build it, and waste alot of money/time. /end of story time. lol

Thats what i was thinkin. Only problem I seen was that everytime i adjusted the port size to get more Port Area, my tuning would obviously change and i needed much more port length. I was trying to not have any bends in the ports. Or will that not really matter?

Thanks guys. Ill pm Team DC Derrick. I was thinking it was going to be to small of port area. Cause with Aero's i heard that you should have between 8-12 in^2 per cube. Does the general box design that I just posted look like it shall work? Im just unsure if the Aero ports have any specific guidelines to follow, as far as placement.

I drew up a new box that would fit my truck (99 s10 ext. cab). It wasn't an "exact" measurement but pretty close. I screwed up when making this so its not perfect, they're shouldn't be a line on the top of the box. 4 - 6" ports. -- 7" in Length (im pretty sure this is not enough port area? 6.54 in^2) 3 - 18" DC Lvl 5's 17.3 ft^3 after bracing, port, sub displacement Tuned to 33hz. hows that one look? Torres Calculator (dimensions are entered weird... the two Heights are actually the Two widths. And the width is the Height.)

Thanks man. Like i said i havent messed with Aero's before so im not down with all the tuning principles with them yet. we'll see what others have to say. I'll have atleast 9000w daily. I was going to run 3 AQ3500's. One per sub. If i would end up going to Comps, i'd have it tuned a little higher, and probably around 4000 per sub. That sound alright?

Are there problems with any locations of ports, as far as function go? Just want some general input as this is also my first time with Aeroports. ** This isn't the actual box im going to build, just the type of layout i was thinking. ** Ports -- (4) 6" Port Length - 11" Port Area - 75.36 in^2 Tune Frequency -- 33hz (i think thats what Torres Calc said, i forget haha) Box Dimensions -- 48" wide x 49" tall x 14" deep. Net Volume -- 14.40 ft^3 after displacement of sub, but no bracing (forgot to add it) ** And I know that this box is a little small for 3 lvl 5's. like i said this is more for a grasp on Sketchup, and general layout of Aero's.**
