LOL, Exactly.....it is doing great, I have everything installed and done, and have pics just been putting off uploading em to the build log, right know I am running it at 2 ohms of the AQ2200 and it slams, I have the box tuned to 28Hz, so it loves 22hz-35hz, Im not gonna put the amp to .5ohms till I get my second HC2000, and some more 1/0 this friday, but it is already so loud on the lows now, Im sorta scared of how loud it will be at .5 ohms.

Oh ok, I thought they may have changed a bit or something, I think my XL is a lil older.....it was one of Jacks XL15's.

x2, in my 03 Grand Am, I have my XL15 firing into the cabin and the port is on my side, and it moves my hair a bit in its sweet spot around 25-30Hz. This is with 2 4" Aero's.

Ok so I feel dumb, I made a noob mistake. The problem was on my mids and high amp(Kicker 650.4) The remote wire is right between the power and ground connections, and what happened is just 1 tiny strand from the power wire was touching into the remote turn on terminal which caused the amps to stay on, that is fixed now and everything is gravy.

As stated give me some good songs in that range, Im in the process of DLing some of Decaf's zips, but until those are done what else is there, my system really seems to like alot of BigPimpins super Screwed and chopped songs, so Im looking for songs in those types of ranges.

I will check all that this evening, since right now it is about 100 degrees outside, and is supposed to get up to around 106 today.

Well shit, I just checked and sure enough the amps have there power lights on, for now Im probably just gonna wire up a toggle switch in-line with the amps, for a temp fix.....any Idea on what could be causing this, I didnt have this problem a few weeks ago when I took out my old system....

Ok, then Im gonna have to check it then, cause it is staying on after the HU is turned off, I have the main remote coming from the headunit to the mids and highs amp, then it is jumped from that terminal to the turn on lead of the AQ2200, I wonder if it because the cord im using is from my old install of a Kicker 1500, thats causing it.....the knob works how its supposed to but the light stays on after the HU shuts off.

On the remote gain knob, is the blue(power on)light supposed to be on all the time, or is it supposed to turn off when the HU turns off??

Like everyone said its mostly preference, for example I have Rainbow 6.5's and I love em, others will have Hertz and love em, etc.......

Right now I have just finished my build with a LVL4XL 15, in about 3.5cubes tuned to 28Hz currently running at 2 ohms(till I get my second HC2000 then .5 ohms), this is on an AQ2200d, and it slams the lows on only about 1200rms, Im talking Put On Mega C&S low. So I vote for the XL.

Easiest way to do a hairtrick is a wall with 4 15's, just do like 4 LVL4's on like 4-5K, its not gonna be easy at all to do a hairtrick out of the trunk, very few people are able to do that.

I would just say fuck it and do a 21" Warden.

They dont make recones for L7's only the SoloX's, Both Foreverbumpin and Team PSI said there are no recones available, I dont know if you could send em the motor and have them put a round basket/new soft parts on it.....but I think I read somewhere Kicker uses funky spec'd coils so you cant.
