  1. I think the recommended box size for those is like 2.25cubes or something, but as long as you have more than RMS power on tap it should be fine(Like 2-2.5K)
  2. I got 3.09 cubes tuned to 36.32Hz, with 15.53square inches of port per cube. Thats without sub/bracing if you have some.
  3. Well after looking at the Swagger Wagon Vid in Off Topic Vids, I decided this would be a fun song to slow, so thats what I did, it doesnt clip anywhere in the song from what I can see, and sounds like it will bang hard, So download it try in in your rides and tell me how it is. This is the original Vid And here is the slowed version I did http://www.zshare.net/audio/76401039fe6cdb5b/
  4. LAWLZ, reminds me of that slap chop commercial, how they remixed it with Autotube. Edit: The song sounds like it fucking slams the lows, Im gonna Audacity it.
  5. Give me 1 minute Edit: I cant find my damn measuring tape, I have the sub sitting right next to me....
  6. I dont remember seeing any records from Daytonas like ever, mostly the people that are record holders use DD,IA,DC,Cactus Sounds,Shocker,Soundstream etc.....
  7. It will be 3.4 cubes after Sub and Port displacement with 11 inches of port per cube, tuned to 32.xx hz Thank you, and I might go a town over to get my wood, if I can find a buddy that isnt busy with a truck. Also the sub will be firing into the cabin, sealed off from the trunk.
  8. Okay so the build is getting started I planned on starting yesterday however, for the first time ever, I go to the place I get my wood and they are completly out of MDF and Birch, so I have to wait till monday/tuesday to start the box. So I decided I can post a few pics of whats going in the car for now. First the Car an 03 Grand Am Second one of Jack's XL15's Next is the Rainbow SLC 6.5's The HU 3 4" Aeroports for the Box This is going under the hood I will have 2 HC2000's in the trunk And to power the sub will be an AQ2200D at .5ohms, that will be here Tuesday Any comments/questions so far??
  9. For my upcoming build I will be using some all thread bent in an L-shape. I will drill two holes in the back of my box and one end will use a nut to connect to the wires on the inside, and the L parts will fit directly into the speaker terminals, eliminating a second connection.
  10. x2, and if one of you connections happens to fail, they are your failsafe.
  11. Where do you live, if you live within I think 100miles or so of a dealer you have to go through them, if you dont maybe someone can send you a price list, then once you get in touch with Rusty he may give you a discount given how much you plan on getting.
  12. Congrats man............I see a future bass head.
  13. I would be down, but I sold it on account that no matter what, the game would not let me buy a PT Cruiser, it would always freeze, and this is on a 3 day old Xbox with a new disc, and all I wanted was a goddamn PT Cruiser, so I sold it after months of never being able to get that car.
  14. Aluminum works good for most applications, but copper has a little bit better conductivity, but is also double the price.
  15. I bought some 1/4" by 1" alluminum bars from True Value, they came about 6 feet long and it went for about 15dollars.
  16. I think the way you are doing it is better than I see most people do it......You should be fine, unless you have an amp that is notorious for being vibration sensative I.E. DD Z1.
  17. I ended up picking up a craftsman router, from my buddys dad, it is 2hp and something like 26000rpm, it works damn good IMO.
  18. Bump 275shipped, this is about 200 dollars less than on Sonic Electronix.
  19. Is this pertaining to "Beast from the East"?? There was a thread about this like a year ago, Im pretty sure the crap got squashed back then, no use to stir it up.
  20. But seriously, I know that I know a ton more now than when I joined 2 years ago, and I know from reading 2 years/being into car audio a ton more than before for those 2 years, has provided me with alot more knowledge to help people, I still dont know as much as these "Pros's(competitors)", but am confident I am much more helpful now than 2 years ago.
  21. Bump Price change 280shipped and insured
  22. Bump if you have something I like I will add 150-200dollars in cash with the amp.
