One thing is you are putting about half power to the subs, in a most likely smaller than spec box, so they are not gonna perform very well. The Fusion Amp is rated at 750rms at 2ohms, that is the RMS for one sub. Combine that with a smaller than spec box and you tend to not get the performance out of the subs. For example my box for my CVX's is a bit on the small side at 1.8 cubes per woofer, but I am also putting about 200rms over the rating to each sub, so it evens out. It worked on your friends type R's since he had them wired at 1 ohm which at that load the fusion amp put out 1000rms, which was perfect for his Type R's given they are 500rms a piece. I would try what others suggested as well as making/getting a new box, that gives the woofers about 2.5 cubes a piece, if you plan on using that amp for a while.

Ya definatly no SD or Stetsom, something that size would be putting out 1500rms easy coming from one of those companies.

On 10 May 1973, Lee collapsed in Golden Harvest studios while doing dubbing work for the movie Enter the Dragon. Suffering from seizures and headaches, he was immediately rushed to Hong Kong Baptist Hospital where doctors diagnosed cerebral edema. They were able to reduce the swelling through the administration of mannitol. These same symptoms that occurred in his first collapse were later repeated on the day of his death Chuck just hit him with an attack that wouldnt take effect till a year in the future. And thats why Im gonna get a Total Gym

ORLY??? But on the real thanks for ruining my day. -
What ohm does it need to be at?? This Kenwood will do between 500-600rms at 2 ohms. http://cgi.ebay.com/KENWOOD-KAC-8105D-MONO-CHANNEL-1000-WATT-CAR-AMPLIFIER_W0QQitemZ290422521456QQcmdZViewItemQQptZCar_Amplifiers?hash=item439e87fe70#ht_3978wt_912

LOL, you made my day perfect representation of that gay ass style. These vids made me laugh as well since they are sooo true. -
Personally I like how the Caliber looks over the HHR, but for some reason in my exp. Dodge loves to charge around 1000 dollars for replacement parts, one that comes to mind was an A arm for a dodge pickup, was 1180 a piece for a new one. So Chevy replacement parts will most likely be cheaper. So there are pros and cons I guess, but I do love what Ed has done with his HHR.........

Pics? I cant find anything on it either, but if you provide some pics, and some info such as is it a monoblock/two channel etc..... and the fusing on it, I sure me or someone else can give you an estimate as to the power output of it.

I didnt know where to post this so I thought this would be a more or less better place to put it, as I guess it could be considered in a way political, given officials looked the other way. So recently some documents where uncovered that showed a catholic priest had potentially molested as much as 200 deaf boys, in the 50's-70's, and was never punished for his actions, and was basically a coverup to save the churches image. Anyways here is the full article about it, personally I think it is complete BS that just because he was a Catholic priest he was allowed a sort of immunity from legal action against him. Like Cartman says "Is the Pope Catholic and making it a safe world for Pedofiles?" Anyways what are your thoughts on this, I mean if this where a priest that was a Scientologist I am sure he would of been in jail in no time. http://www.nytimes.com/2010/03/25/world/europe/25vatican.html?hp

What Sub would you choose for $350-450
CaptainzPlanetz replied to CaptainzPlanetz's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
Ya but I am sure it would be hella expensive to rent the Three Gorges Dam, and even then I would only be able to power 2 of em. -

Thank you for the imput though the DC BandWagon is a lil overloaded, I know they are great subs I just want to be a lil different, hence why I listed these subs. -
As the title states, I am getting a single 12 for a new setup for now, in the summer I will get a second sub and double the power. So far the subs I am looking at right now are the Incriminator Audio DP SSA Xcon T3 T2000 The power on tap will be around 2000rms, now which sub would you choose if you where to pic between these 3, I dont mind also if you list other subs in this price range with similiar specs.

They wont do near rated power here is the Fusing of them that I found. Important installation considerations for using this amplifier. The fuse ratings for these amps EV3000D: 60A (30A x 2) EV4000D: 120A (40A x 3) EV5000D: 175A (ANL type) Although sufficient for normal working conditions, overloading the amp result in blown fuses. Please try avoid overloading the amp in this manner. Your EVOLUTION Class D amplifier is designed to run with a minimum load of 1 Ohm. Operating the EV3000D , EV4000D or EV5000D with speaker impedance load below 1 Ohm may result in poor sound quality and damage the amplifier circuitry. Such damage is not covered under the warranty for this product. Do not mistake the input level control for a volume control! It is designed ONLY to match the output level your audio source to the input of your amplifier. Do not adjust this input level to maximum unless your input level requires it. Ignoring these instructions will result in an input overload to the amplifier, and excessive audio distortion. can also cause the protection circuit to engage. Don't misuse the level control!

What I dont get is why all these Max Brands are always 2 channel amps. I guess it appeals to the dont knows that think to run two subs you need 2 channels.
