  1. I would say they would sound pretty good and still get loud, but I know that my CVX's really shine in a ported box, used to have sealed but as with alot of people once you go ported you never go back. Is there any particular reason you are chosing to go sealed? If it is space I can understand as you need at least 3Cu per sub ported and only about 2 or so sealed. Either way I think it will get down, what amp are you planning on running?
  2. LOL you should of told your boss "Dammit Im not a truck driver LOL" Do they pay you for the miles you drive or do you just have to go where ever they need you?.
  3. That would be a close guestimation Bass Racing, My box is in an 03 Grand Am sealed off from the trunk firing into the cabin, it is Dual Chambered with each 12 having about 2 cubic foot a piece. The box is tuned to 34Hz with each chamber having 28square inches of port.
  4. So they are made Basically for the burp machines.
  5. No I havent but by the Ear-O-Meter I would say it is about 141-143.
  6. Would this rule also apply to that one BatCap Extreme battery, or is this Bat not allowed in Street? http://www.batcap.net/Products/BatCapProdu...91/Default.aspx I know it meets the size requirement.
  7. I got 2 12" CVX's off of about 1800 rms and they get hella loud and sound pretty damn good doing it.
  8. Around SMD, the best alts you can get are either from MechMan or DC Power, you cant go wrong with either, for your set up something from 200-250amps would be nice.
  9. LOL, where the flip did you find that pic, I searched for like an hour and came up with nothing.
  10. Been trying to find pics of this sub, I would have a better chance of ordering TSNS's and them being on my porch tommorow than finding pics of this sub.
  11. I have no idea man, He is adding alot more battery power, though I dont know how much he can fit in that car, a battery trailer might be a good idea LOL, he is running 2 stetsom 14Kd's right now on the 4 15" Wardens and they are barely moving, soon he is adding 2 more Stetom 14KD's one per sub, I think he has 12 batteries at the time
  12. Yep Caps just arent very effective with todays systems, Batteries are the way to go, heck you can even get XS's smallest battery and be more powerful than 100 1 farad caps. Talking about high powered daily drivers soon Beajay is gonna be running 60K daily and 120K burp. Though like all systems it probably wont be right on that mark given all the variables.
  13. LOL, gotcha still looks hella cool though, the largest I usually see are the Triple stack motors.
  14. This 15" MOAB looks really beefy, I found this pic on another site posted by LordBaccus and his reply would be helpful, is the sub on the left 1 off, or are you able to order them?
  15. Congrats man, but looking at the other trophies I think to myself, who would want a 12 foot trophy LOL.
  16. Damn those look even more like rubber bands than the old ones. LOL do those even need air. And you act like you could here the old tires LMAO.
  17. Like numbers 1-9 or just Binary Code with 1's and 0's, If its the latter I can help you if its the former I probably cant.
  18. My buddy has one and it never has given him any problems, even with him being a dumbass. He has his amp in the spare tire well and it slides around and bangs on everything, he didnt like the black so he spray painted it white, and alot of other crap. So I would say it is pretty reliable given what he has done to it. The same buddy has a early 90's 2 door Tahoe, and he has his 2 12" dual subs stuffed up in the area where the stock speakers went in the rear on the ceiling, the magnets are sticking out of a hole he cut in the headliner, and he is powering the subs off his HU, next time I see him I will get some pics for yall, I bet it will make you ROFLYAO.
  19. Dont have any at the time, but will take some tomorrow, Basically what I first did was take off the Gray Trim Panel thing, then I cut a few pieces of MDF to take up the extra space around the box, then wrapped the MDF pieces to match the box, and screwed the pieces into the box/sheet metal, then to get it air tight finished up with some Great Stuff from to the back of the trim pieces I had built. When I do the XL build I wanna have a bit more box, so I will probably be taking a Sawzaw to that sheet metal trim area, to give me a Lil more space. I will try and get you some pics tomorrow.
  20. I have 2 12" CVX's in an 03 Grand Am, sealed off from the trunk, firing into the cabin, and I havent noticed hardly any rattle from the rear deck, did though when I had my seats up with the sub and port firing toward the rear. Also soon to be them LVL4XL's off of 2 ZX.2500's, I cant wait..... Also with the subs firing into the cabin I would say I got louder, also the trunk rattles went way down from what they were.
  21. Usually I go to iTunes, or get Mixtapes from DatPiff, or go search around youtube and myspace for great artists that are up and coming and have their albums posted for free.
  22. Cause they dont wanna show their Unicorn to you........
  23. In cars that the seats fold down I prefer sealed off from the trunk with subs and port firing into the cabin. Also I think the LVL4XL's would do great off of that power, IMO with the LVL5's you would want more power, so if you decide on the LVL5's I would do another 3000d.
  24. MikeSmith has an Alpine MRP500 for sale for 100+ shipping http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=56516
  25. Oh I forgot one of the most important ones *When using screws Pre Drill, that one is very important.
