Anybody have any experience with these, they look beefy as hell, quad stack motor 4" voice coil, rated at 3000rms, but I cant seem to find pricing on em anywhere... This pic is from there site.....every seen a 10 with a quad stack motor???

Unless its a Soundigital amp, but even then it still makes its power at 12volts, I think all amps should make there power at 12 volts, then everyone wouldnt need to have mega battery banks and multiple alts to keep there voltage above 14...you would just have to work to keep you voltage above 12 to get the rated rms out of your amp.

I agree with Hotel California but you have to get the Live version IMO.

What is your budget, and are you looking for SQ or speakers that just scream, or a mixture, and what size are your stock locations, and are you willing to cut, for instance I have Rainbow 6.5's and I had to make some modifications to get them to fit good in my doors.

Strut tower is a pretty good ground....however do not take off the center bolt just use one of the 3 or 4 bolts surrounding the center bolt.

Voltage drop is Hifonics amps main enemy, they lose something about 18% output for every volt below 14.4 volts, so if you have a 1000rms Hifonics amp and your dropping to 12volts, you are only getting about 600rms before rise, so if you have a solid electrical system to back it Hifonics is not a bad budget amp.....

Personally I like RealPlayer SP, its basically like a browser, and its limits are not only Youtube but any video anywhere on the web you can get and with another click get the audio from it in high quality, and the best part it only takes as long as it takes to load the video all the way, so for some a few seconds.....

I have s 15" XL firing into the cabin in my Grand Am......It is better than it was firing toward the trunk lid, since the box just barely fits in the trunk(had to take off tail lights to get it to fit...)so it was blocking the majority of the air coming into the cabin, so I 180'd the box and made a trim panel to seal it off from the trunk, and now its louder...

For starters you could run alot more power to the XL than the lvl4, also if weight is a concern the XL weighs just over 20 pounds more than the LVL4.....
