When I said "bigger Q," I meant more power handling/capable Q Well i know your source isn't me on this one because from what Scott last said they were working with a new coil to see if it performed up to standards. IIRC they said it would be in the 500-1000rms range. Granted I believe it can take more but thats besides the fact. I believe they were working on low inductance and a few other options last they had said anything. I wouldn't expect it around for a couple months

Om guys this is going into a Mazada(zoom zoom) Protege. Equipment is an 18" BTL and AQ 3500.1 3 AGM batterys. Ok Im just trying to figure out what everyone else thinks would be the best way to set this up.. The box is 20"H which is why im leaning to port up or port to the side. I would love to have the wow factor of doing sub back for the guy so when he opens the hatch ppl are like WTF!! lol Personal experience would be AWESOME!

do it right the first time man. Get some good qualitly subs. you might want to try and find a stronger amp too. your going to get a weird ohm load with 3 subs so you'll be losing power out of that amp. but it can be done. whats your budget?

done it.. my blowthru box was like that but i very slightly angled the subwoofer baffles. you have to much port area try to cut it done to close to 15-16.5 per cube you'll move plenty of air. also have fun mounting those bitches.... i had only 4 12's to put in.. yet the opening i had to crawl in was 13"H by 11 wide it took me 2+ hours to mount the subs with bolts
