  6. Do what you want! You can mix them and if you do it proper it will sound good. But unless you do it how other people want it to be done it will never be right or sound good even if they never hear it! Im outta here!
  7. Its still the same concept... its like saying you cant mix 6.5s and 6x9s...
  8. Oh and everyone that is sooooooo against mixing subs but you love steves tahoe, guess what hes mixing subs. 8s in the doors and 18s in the back. So i guess steves hoe looks bad and mexi to huh? Exactly.
  9. well, that's a good first step, but I can't imagine it's something that can be done well just by following a couple rules of thumb. It probably takes a LOT of testing. finding peak frequencies for each driver, graphing frequency responses, etc. there's probably a LOT of trial and error involved as well. On top of all that, you'd have to know what all of the data means, and be able to translate it into the design. overall, it seems like it takes a lot of time, effort, and likely money to get desirable results. Has to be the fucking stupidest response ive seen in my life. Build to boxes at what you want tgem tuned at, put them in the car, hook it up and slap away. Thats all that required. Really? Have you done it before? Ive seen it done in person and ive actually heard a system with mixed subs unlike 99.99999% of the know it alls that say not to do it.
