    I always end up making my own harness..lol... honestly, I don't think I'm using a single wire on the factory harness

    you should be good... as long as you dont have to take a million screws out of the dash to get to it and everything goes the way it is supposed to... ive had some HU installs that have taken 15 minutes and ive had some that have taken me hours...

    actually it may just be too much power... how much port area do you have? and where are your settings on the Hu set at? it doesnt matter if the gain is only up a tad... if the settings on the hu are cranked up you could still be over driving the amplifier

    check your coils with a dmm first... then start troubleshooting with the amp

    if you check out MECA's event schedule you will see that DC's Mobile Electronics is hosing 4 shows in the next couple months... the first 3 are 1x events and the 4th is 2x... there is one this weekend and one next weekend... i wont be able to make it this weekend but Myself and Cubs_fan will be rolling my Saturn down there NEXT weekend... hope to see some of you fellas there! ill have my new system finished by then so come get your demo..lol

    well i was working on my build today and there is no way i can fit the sa-8 in the back dash... i just dont have the mounting depth... it would be interesting to slap one in there mounted magnet up with the new magnet boot though...lol

    humm ill have to check my depth from the top of my box to the rear deck.. i may be adding another SA series woofer to my car after all.... I wonder how much power it would need to sound good? Humm you know Jacob... i could really use that SAE100.4 prototype still... You should send it to me!

    alright i thing someone mentioned this in a different topic somewhere but id like a sure shot opinion... would an sa-8 be good as a free aired midbass driver? i was thinking one would look pretty sexy in my back dash...

    You can find a used Audiouque 1200d for around that... id take it over that other crap any day
