    I picked up 5 Seagate Cheetah ST336807LW 36gb 10k rpm hard drives I was going to use in a gaming computer and I am trying to decide if I actually need them. Anyone have experience with them? They are not cheap and I just don't know if I have a use anymore. Thoughts?

Different build houses (ODM's) put them together, send them to places like Dell and HP, the companies install a hard drive, CPU and software, slap a sticker on it and call it theirs. Look up names like Compal and Sager. You get the same quallity with a waranty at a way fuckin better deal.

    I paid around $175.00 a couple years ago for it. If I can put together a a sub with better parts at the resistance and power handling I need then I think it's worth it. That and I will pretty much have my own sub in my car.

    Black and green? Gross. I would figure out what I want my interior to do for me. Is it going to be about looks, comfort etc. You can have it all but all black would be a whore to keep clean. Tan always looks nice with black. Easy on the eyes too. And wrapped is always better than paint. You can get SEM plastic paint and it would be OK but a little bit of vinal can go a long way in the looks department.

    I know. I was going to Iraq again and wanted to hear it bang. It held up pretty well. I didn't even think about the sub until I moved back to NC (Army) and decided to try out my new Fluke. Turned out to be fucked. So if I get with FI or another reputable manufacturer They may be able to send me what I need for less than the cost of a new sub? I can dig that. Plus I would have something a little different.

    Exactly. I seem to suck at finding a recone kit or anyone who can point me in that direction. I loved the way it sounded but I hit it too hard(built the enclosure, bumped it hard as hell then deployed) on a Directed 1500d. I hope someone knows where to get parts or compatible parts.

    I have a type R 15 dual 2ohm and one of the coils is jumping all over the place on the DMM. Are there recone kits out there? Can I use any other parts on it?

    No factory amp. They all work when the radio is on, but the thumb drive only plays on the front speakers.

    When I play music off the thumb drive it only playes on the front speakers. I havn't checked but I'm sure the iPOD is going to do the same. Plays all 4 with the radio and I can't friggin figure it out. Any thoughts?
