  1. T10001BD, purchased from BASS14 here on SMD
  2. I think this could be a great asset to the SMD community, having a birthsheet archive where anyone looking for a new amp can go to see what amp would put out the most power for their $$. If we get enough sheets posted in this thread maybe we could even get a sticky! For this to be legit, it would require either a picture/scan of the sheet itself or it would have to be from a reputable member. AKA, no posting here with 10 posts claiming your amp does such and such with no pictures or scans to prove it. Also, if you have reservations as to posting your birthsheet because of the serial number being shown I (or another SMD member that you trust) can mosiac the number as shown in my sheet to follow this post. These don't have to be for amps that you own, if you find picture/scan of a birthsheet elsewhere, feel free to post it here (as long as you have permission from the owner of the amp). Birthsheet us up, Lunari
  3. A friend of mine had two of the older immortal 15s off of a cadence amp in the trunk of an older grand am. It sure the hell wasn't quiet!
  4. That is amazing, 3k out of a 2k advertised amp! This is the T1000bd I bought off of Bass14, awesome amps RF makes
  5. was just about to say that, it's an eonon e1012
  6. Wow. It looks like the nameplate is covered where it would show what brand it is. I'll do some searching because for THAT price, I definitely would want it. If it's not crap that is! I'll let you know what I turn up
  7. Used to play alto and barry sax way back when, probably couldn't play one if I had to now. Currently when the mood hits me I pick up either my.. Ibanez SRX505 (5-string, translucent black) Ibanez 4 string from the 90s (was my first bass, got it from a pawn shop. stripped it down to bare wood, doesn't look bad!) Ibanez SX? 305 (5-sring, black, was my step dad's before he passed away) or the wife's black Squier P-bass. I run them through a Behringer 450w head into a SWR Triad 1 (I absolutely love this cab, a 15, a 10, and a horn)
  8. x2 I would never own a ford, I'd rather walk. It is all personal preference though!
  9. I agree on the T10001bd, I recently picked one up. Seems like a great amplifier. Also, another difference between the power and punch series is that the power series are even more underrated when it comes to power. For example my T10001bd does nearly 1600w rms @ ohm on the birthsheet Edit: The fan cooling is nice also
  10. Damn, I'm very interested in these. Would be great to replace the pioneer's in the wife's car for now. How are they different from the Power HX2 series? I get paid in two days, and this deal might just be too good to pass up. Thanks, Lunari
  11. Tired, out of cigarettes, and have to work in the morning for almost no pay? FUCK THAT!
  12. Another thing (if it factors into the choice at all), a friend of mine has a two 15" Eclipse Titaniums in a first gen Integra and that thing makes you feel like your head is about to implode, and I want that feeling
  13. Awesome, thanks for the replies. I wouldn't mind going with a single sub setup, but the.. how can I say it... Presence? Of two 18s I think would be crazy. I haven't looked in the back of the Blazer for awhile now so I'm not sure how much room I would have to work with while keeping the rear seats (have a family so it's important). Is it possible to fit two SSDs in it (ported) while in proper enclosures? Even if so I would have to buy them one at a time and just run one for awhile. Which leads me to this question. Two 18s SSDs off of the T1k, or a single BL or Q 18 off of the T1k with the slight possibility of adding another T1k and another Q/BL a ways down the road? I'm trying to spend as little as possible and get the best price/performance (including amps and electrical.) if that factors into it at all. Thanks, Lunari
  14. Okay, I'm looking at putting two Fi 18s (ported) in my 95 4-door Blazer. Money is tight so I was looking at the SSD 18s, although I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go with the SSDs. I am running a RF T10001bd (birthed right around 1600 RMS @ 1 ohm). I wouldn't mind spending a little more money although it would take longer to get them if it is worth it for the price/performance. I want loud and low, I'm not looking to win any competitions though (there aren't any around here). About how much louder would two Qs or Bls be off that power in a large ported enclosure built to spec than the SSDs? In other words, what Fi 18s would be the best for me (on a budget) wanting to be loud and hit the lows. As far as how loud I would like to be, as long as it's louder (by quite a bit I hope!) than my friend's two 12" CVRs ported in a ranger off a 600w kicker amp, I will be happy as a clam. As far as how low I would like it to be, I listen to everything from funk and metal to rap and jazz and would like to be able to actually hear the lows (for example in the ranger the cvrs on late night tip barely have any output, they are just moving and moving... but almost no output.). Anyways, looking forward to some suggestions here. I'm hoping I can get away with just the SSDs since they are easier on the wallet. Hell, and if there is any chance of even a mini :hairtrick: (not a requirement) it would be all the better. Thanks, Lunari
  15. Already got one now, so no need to buy another one
  16. I was looking at getting some of them, they seem to be really nice
  17. x2 I just got one, it's an awesome amp for the price you can get them at.
  18. You're welcome, thanks for the great service on your end
  19. Scratch the circular saw off the list!
  20. Camera is dead at the moment, had it hooked up to the computer for copying pictures, and accidentally left it on all night. I'll try to remember to get some batteries on the way home tomorrow. It's not pretty though, it was a tight squeeze fitting the old sealed box back in there..... With my new RF T10001BD.. That thing is HUGE, it took me about 30 minutes just to figure out how to get it in there.. Can't mount it on the box because I was reusing the old power wire and it was maybe 6" too short! I removed the capacitor, I need to get some new ends to crimp on the wires before I put that back in. Anyways, you would never know these were the really low end pioneer's in there, I am amazed how good they sound with a little bit of power. After I get the new box built (still need to order the MDF), and it's time for me to use the RF for the Blazer build (coming soon! soon as I can afford an 18 or two that is), I might have to order one of the RF P500-1bd amps for her. It should match up to these pioneers nicely. List of things to do yet... Big 3, new box for the pioneers, new amp for the wife, new deck, etc, etc.. and... Pictures! ~ Lunari
