  2. nice. thats crazy that it rattles his window even when your behind him cruising down the road. off topic but i was making my weekly ebay rounds and spotted this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ROCKFORD-FOSGATE-DEALE...id=p3286.c0.m14 ^^^^^it can be your record keeper for how many people you demo. it seems like at least 5 a day consistently
  3. there is a button to the lower right of the volume knob. hold it for a couple seconds. then go to general. then scroll down to "power ic" and turn it on. the button is the one with the F on it (says setup under it) to the right of the "go back" button. http://www.alpine-usa.com/US-en/products/p...ng=en&tab=A
  4. oops. i forget they're closed on weekends. try this number. 401-992-4050
  5. call alpine. last time i called them their tech people were pretty helpful. (1-800-832-4101)
  6. thats pretty cool. the font isn't my favorite but it looks good.
  7. ^^^wierd. it might be the cd. but i'm sure you tried more than one so your headunit might be bad. as far as the imprint upgrade. i have never used one with the imprint so i wouldn't know the difference between with and without. i am happy with mine without the imprint since the more you tweak stuff from the headunit the more things seem to clip or have a unnatural sound
  8. whats with the spongebob shit btw? does he make you louder?
  9. measure the how big your port openings are. for example: 1 inch wide and 13 inches tall. 1 times 13 which equals 13 inches of port area for that subs chamber. if each of your subs are in a 1 cubic foot chamber then they should have 13-16 squares inches of port if they are in 2 cubic foot chambers (a piece) then they should have 26-32 square inches of port per chamber. yours looks VERY small
  10. you need a better box. that thing is :01nocomment8so:
  11. they are a great online website to order from. as soon as i placed an order with them they emailed me a confirmation, and it shipped the next day with a tracking number. great place in my opinion.
  12. adding the extra battery will at least keep your voltage up around 12 volts where if you just have the one battery and the alternator you will drop voltage very fast and most likely below 12 volts but it will jump back up faster. either way you're gonna need both.
  13. i would add the deka first, then do a 200 + amp alt, and then another deka 31 down the road if needed.
  14. ME= jealous that you have nightshades and 3000's you= need gaskets for the nightshades.
  15. the nightshade or level 5 would be my choices.
  16. from what i've heard they will handle it as long as its done wisely and for short periods of time.
  17. i use these. hammer them into the wood and then put some resin around it for good luck. http://www.boltdepot.com/t-nuts.aspx

  19. what kind of sub do you have? when i'm using any sub over 50 pounds i use 1 1/2 inch bolts with nut plates on the underside of the baffle. on smaller subs i just use 1 1/2 inch wood screws.
