  1. it can be sealed but i prefer ported with low tuning. it does great in either enclosure though. does it have a 12 spoke basket or the one piece basket motor? what kind of amp?
  2. new or old model xxx? you will need 1500 rms for the old and 2000 rms for the new. the se's will need 1200 rms for the pair, so its a big difference in power between the two. i would go with the xxx though, they get very loud and sound great doing it.
  3. you can download it at digitalripped.com it beats good.
  4. thats great! bitch should of just moved when he asked her to.
  5. are they dual 2, or dual 4?
  6. all three of my roommates are sick as dogs right now. i'm immune to there sicknesses so i just laugh at them. its going around though so watch out. get well man.
  7. i don't think anyone will ever know the true origins of why this is a smokers holiday but i think it's just because so much fucked up stuff happened on this day everyone was just toking for the homies.
  8. yes sir. now this is when the amp is right before the point of clipping and depending on what kind of signal it gets it will clip a little at this power but i've had mine at over 1400 rms with no clipping. this is the range of the amplifier where you have to be careful and know what your doing or it will roast some subs. but with 14.8 volts i saw one of these pull a clean 1500 rms. for 249 dollars. i'm not trying to push this on you i'm just trying to let you know that planning ahead and buying quality the first time around will save you alot of dough.
  9. what can you do? pull a 1 ohm load off of it and get as much as 1400 rms.
  10. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4541677 hahahahahahah. na. i second all the ones listed above.
  11. you're pioneer prolly had 4 volt preouts and you had a lower model alpine with 2 volts. right?
  12. true. i used to have a pioneer and it would take a couple seconds just to get the volume knob turned up to where i wanted it. lol 24 is where i have my alpine at all the time. plenty loud.
  13. how big is it? i might want this
  14. i hear that. i would cry if i couldn't ever get a new alpine headunit.
  15. i used spray window tint on my turn signals. looks great. you can get it at hobby shops and what not. you have to put a clear coat on it or else it will rub off after a couple months worth of washing it.
  16. as far as i know. they have only been around a couple years since they changed over from tc.
  17. i wouldn't be that sad to see them leave at all. never cared for anything they offered. sucks to see any audio company start to go though.
  18. i'll look within the next week or so. i would have to pull my headunit out to see but i'm gettin new rca's and i'll have it out next week so i'll take some pictures for you. i guess they are an alpine thing. idk. bought my 9886 and it came with it.
  19. i wouldn't try it. i would most likely lock up the program. it locks up on me when i have a couple songs pulled up in different tabs and unclipping them or maybe my comp just sucks. i only do a couple at a time but they are in different tabs. i pull one up while the other one is unclipping and by the time that one is done i start the new one and then repeat. lol
  20. tell your wife to go along the base of everywall in the house with a leveler. that should keep her busy for a minute. tell her it will really help out alot. other than that. just patience man make sure you got you first board perfect because the others build off of it and then take you time from there.
  21. the days have past where i can celebrate this joyous holiday so enjoy it for me guys.
  22. you will only be pulling 500 watts at 4 ohms this amp is pretty efficient at 4 ohm and it won't pull anymore power than any of the other amps you were planning on using. i use 2 of these at 1 ohms running over 2500 rms with a stock alt, yellow top up front and the big three and i only have a 1 volt voltage drop. when i got my first one though it was completely stock electrical at 1 ohm and i had no voltage drop. you will be fine. i wish i would have gotten a good amp like this for my first one. i've upgraded so many times and used almost every brand out there and these are the best amps for the money.
  23. well if you're gonna have if for a few years then get something good. i personally would not buy any of those amps.
