  1. if he didnt have the remote hooked up the amp wouldn't power up. Double check your grounds and make sure they are a good metal surface.. maybe scuff it up a bit again. RCAs could be the problem but if they work on another amp i highly doubt its them though. It would suck though if it happens to be an internal problem on the amp.. if it is hopefully its something small
  2. Looking for 10 - 15 feet of it
  3. Ehh the only good shop here was back in the day when my dad was their installer and they've since shut down and relocated.. Now we only have one and its quite mediocre. The car is an '83 camaro and the alt and the batt are practically right next to each other.. no more than 2 feet
  4. He's already promised it to someone unfortunately
  5. well the main thing is that not all of it was done like its supposed to be. So i'm just going to go through and do it all with 0 gauge added on to the stock electrical that way I know that it is done right.
  6. Just as title states. The car supposedly already had the big 3 upgrade. I went through and double checked everything and its not a complete big 3 upgrade. Worst of all its with really cheap 4 gauge. So if anyone has some extra 0 gauge laying around. I can pay by paypal or i have some things to trade. LMK Thanks Mike
  7. In the camaro I know many people put the switches in the center console. Thats where mine are going in my '83. If you can get a piece of ABS to help secure the switches to, it makes it easier to put in the center console and looks alot cleaner.
  8. x2 my car has no security whatsoever... no power locks or anything... and more often than not i dont lock my door unless im at Ball State.. things like this is why im glad i just bought a dual proximity alarm

  12. Hmm cant say I have. Right now my main focus is the trunk well of the hatch. once the weather is nice and not so humid i'll be replacing my carpet and putting down some kind of deadener on the floor .. and POR-15 rust protectant.
  13. Cool i appreciate your help bro. Maybe doing this and a layer or two will make the exhaust quieter on the inside and increase my sounds nice
  14. so take the dense foam and put it on the interior panels then simply reinstall the interior panels?
  15. Yeah as old as my car is (1983) there are some gap issues as it isnt as tight as a fit as it should be thats why i was asking about the interior panels
  16. Instead of running two layers on the body of the car.. would there be any difference by putting a layer on the body and putting a layer on the panels? Just curious to what you guys think/know.
  17. The level 4s take a helluva lot of power. The 2 sae 1000ds would push one XL. As a DD setup I too would go with 2 12s
