That amp would be goos for one fi bl. I ran both of mine off of a saz-1500d and it pounded. But when I moved to the 3000d it was like night and day.

lol. I think thats funny that the kenwoods actually get less efficient at 1ohm but still hold stable. PS I ran my kac-9103d at 1 ohm and it got hotter than hell and use to shut off all the time if the backseat wasnt down.

Ok considering that kenwood amps are rated at 14v and your running a 12v system. You might see 900 out of that 1200 rms rating. so thats 1800rms there plus around 200 rms from your highs amp you only gettin maybe a little over 2000rms man. All you need is a bigger bat upfront and if your car is a higher end model it might have a bigger alt in it like mentioned up top.

Thats max bullshit is an inflated rating to make you think your getting that kind of power. The rms rating is what you will actually see.

Hey theres a shop local here in Tampa called divine sounds. The owner goes by the namer of creek. Really nice guy. Seems to have been into the whole spl scene around the early 2000's. Any ways he claimed to beo ne of the first guys to hit 160dbs. He did have this in his show room to kinda back up his story. Who was the first guy to hit 160 and is this guy b.s.in me?

I say recone the 3 as 15s and order a 4th. Also that is an ass load of power for that car. Just incase you didnt knwo. The btl 15 requires half the airspace as a btl 18.

Thanks guys. I just put my saz-3500d on hold for now until I get my highs right. Just picked up some eminence 6.5s and tweets. My other pet peave is out bass with no highs. Ugh I guess Im gonna have to wait till I get everything before I drop all the new shit in.

lol. I couldnt stand it any longer with no bass. I had to do something. Moved my components to the 2 front channels at 2ohms on my 50.4 and bridged the back two to run a single infinity reference 12" sealed at 4ohms. Actually doesnt sound to bad. Box is old and not the prettiest but its covered up any ways. Just thought I would share how Im couping with no bass in between builds.
