  1. sooo is it 170 shipped? if not then what is shipping to 94403, thx oh and if you could let me know through a pm cuz ill prob forget to check back here again. thx
  2. 1:1...no different resin's need different amounts of catalyst. The resin that Bondo makes requires 14 drops of hardener per 1 ounce of resin. Read the directions on the resin can and it will tell you how much hardener to use. Oh and just out of curiosity...did you stir the resin thoroughly once you put in the hardener?
  3. with something like that he prob used steel square tubes in between each sub and then anchord them to the back of the enclosure. Not sure if you would need that kind of strength but it wont be rattling appart anytime soon
  4. bout a month or two ago they had signs on most of the wood panels that were 2'/4' that said "NEW LOWER PRICE!"...now all those prices went up by like 20%.
  5. Whats up with the box in this pic? was that on purpose or did you just mess up some measurements.
  6. Was at home depot with my cousin buying some MDF for his box and i kinda noticed that the sheet wasnt as big, im talking about the 24/42in sheets not the 4'/8's. Last month they were $7.xx dollars for a 24/42" sheet and now they are $9.xx for a 23.75/41.75" sheets . Not that 1/4" of an inch is that big of a deal but im gonna take a guess and say that they arent gonna stop there. 2/4's first started out as 2/4's and now they are 1.5/3.5's so ill just have to wait and see.
  7. I see hella ppl buying that beer at the grocery store i work at...looks so fuckin good when it comes rollin down the belt (i bag peoples shit). And my cuzin has this app on his I-touch that has stats on practically every beer ever made and i looked up arrogant bastard ale and it's got some cool info on it. Says that it goes good with almonds and walnuts?? But yea i think it was worth the drive back and the extra $5
  8. Lol fuckin loved that game..not the first but the second one. But when they banned PKing and started changing the whole game i said fuck this and just quit. Good times
  9. This one might be a bit easier to build i think, the port is 3" tall, wanted it to be 4" tall but the end of the port was too close to the back of the box.
  10. well i redid the box and i dunno why i never thought of this in the first place...but w/e lol. Its for a 15" and its 4 cubes...thats right between the 3-5 cubes that Fi recommends. This will give me lots of room on the side of the box and its a sub up port back config, tune to 32hz with 3 4" ports.
  11. easy as 1..2..3 Oh and here are some tips to remember when connecting the wire to the fuse holder, you should loosen the screws all the way so there is a perfect circle for the wire to slide in. When you strip the 1/0 try not to mess with the wire strands as much as possible so they don't get tangled in each other therefore making it harder to slide into the fuse holder. Twist the wires in the same direction as when they came out of their plastic jacket then and as you are sliding them into the fuse holder you need to spin the fuse holder in the same direction as you twisted the wires. This will save you lots of frustration and the more strands you dont have to cut the better. OH!!! I forgot the most important thing...dont forget to slide on the plastic end caps on each wire before you connect them to the fuse holder...nothing more frustrating then having to take off your perfectly connected wire just to slide the cap on and then the second time you have to cut half the wire off to make it fit back in lol.
  12. yea thats what i wanted to do in the begining but that would mean i would have to make the top of the box atleast 19.5" which would take up almost all of my trunk space..not something i want. It would work out better with a 15 but if im gonna spend this much money i might as well go for an 18 and call it a day. Cuz i know if i get a 15 then sooner or later i will want to upgrade to an 18 with a bigger amp. ...Oo i just thought of another box idea lol
  13. lol thats nothing compared to the bay area, the house across the street from us is for sale right now and its got 3 bedrooms and 3 baths i believe and the list price is $1,280,000.... and the cheapest you can find is like in the $600,000 range
  14. yea that's recommended but i wanted to know if it would still be fine like that. Cuz i really dont have any other choice other than having the port come out of the box which i really dont want cuz it dosent look all that good.
  15. bump for input on the new ports and is the 3 1/8" too close to the bottom of the box? or will it be ok.
  16. you can trust him, he says what he means and he does what he says. Ships quickly and is honest. Great guy to deal with and buy from. And thx again for the speakers.
  17. The box for the 2 12's was way oversized and it is a bit over 6 cubes, i figured i could make a more efficient box for the 18 and give it the minimum recommended space which is 5 cubes. And how would i be "chocking" it?...as in i dont have enough port area or as in the box dosent have enough air space? And it's only gonna be fed ~1000 watts RMS. So ur saying more power = smaller box, and rms power = larger box? Here is an update on the box..its 6.9 cubes tuned to 32 hz. Im worried about there not being enough space between the bottom of the ports and the bottom of the box..
  18. yup yup, its going behind the second row seat in my jeep Cherokee and i want to retain as much space as i can in the trunk area, i could make it much larger but i figured 5.2 cubes is just at the recommended specs. Would just using 1 6" port result in too much port noise? Here is the same box but it's for 2 12's, the box for the 18" will be 2" less depth wise
  19. So im tryin to design a box for an Fi BL 18 and i need two 6" round ports, so i plug in my numbers in this calc: http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31, and it tells me that my port length should be 24.23 in long..does that mean each port has to be that long? Or does it mean that i divide that by two and make each port 12.xx long? Here is the box so i dont really have that much room to have two 24" long ports going on in there, and a slot port would be really dificult with the back angled like it is. Any help would be cool thx. I just drew the ports to be 12" long so you can get the idea of how much room there is in there, the box is 5.2cubes net and i wanna tune it to 32hz.
  20. I paid $377 for both. The impact wrench came as a bonus when i bought the big one, kinda is a lot but they'll hopefully last at least five years..."hopefully"
