  1. lol why is wimp back all of a sudden, used to be my favorite site if i had to kill hella time but they stoped posting new vids on there a long while back and now they've started fresh. anyways thats some funny shit lol
  2. WOW ram is so fuckin cheap now its crazy. I remember when i was in my whole comp building phase and that corsair ram was like $150 or somewhere round there. And ive had like 5-6 pairs of G-Skill ram and its been good to me so far. But yea sometimes ppl overlook RAM and think that it's all the same but it take a big part in blue screens and other crashes. Dont go cheap on RAM or your PSU.
  3. looks like a sound card with a bunch of RCA inputs or outputs on it. Hook up your system to you're comp and see what it does
  4. lol funny thing is is that my jeep is in the exact same phase as yours is right now, no carpet and no seats. But i gotta put the drivers seat back in to drive it to work . Except i wish i was adding deadener, instead im just running new 1/0 and fixing my power seats :censored:. But goddamn that carpet must wight like 50 pounds at least..and getting it out the doors alone aint fun either, i washed, carpet treated, and vacuumed that shit like a mother
  5. Dogg..the movie itself ruined the fuckin movie, its just all bad, beginning, middle, and then end
  6. ahh i want that BL 15!! how long you think you will still have it up for sale?
  7. lol saw that in theaters when it first came out...was so pumped up to see it cuz i thought it was gonna be sick. What a waste of 10 bucks and 25 cents that was lol, literally the only good parts about the movie were shown in the commercial adds.
  8. ppl just need to learn how to drive... be aware of your surroundings, pay attention, and USE YOUR MIRRORS!! not tryin to bash you or nuthin just trying give some tips and yes i know accidents happen, but if this is your second time getting in a wreck and its your fault both times then obviously you didnt learn. And aint no fuckin way he can just pull that dent out haha, thats all up in the rocker panel and that's some thick stuff. You gotta cut the rocker damage out and weld in a replacement, the doors can just be banged out and filled in with body filler.
  9. 6cu ft for two 12's, each sub has it's own air space. Only feeding them 250 watts each atm
  10. yea sad part is that i will prob end up doing that..i cant afford a new HU atm since i was busy spending money on other parts of my system...like new speakers, making new door pods, buying a new drill to get building on my system, paying my taxes, and was about to get a new 4 channel amp...now this shit happens. Its basically a big ass waste of money at this point, i just want some beat and ill be good, just dosent seem like ill have any for a while now
  11. so after i took my last Type R from the rear and put it in the front door to see what would happen, it started to distort and i knew i was gonna blow it if i kept playing music. So i unplugged it and today i went to work trying to find out what the problem was. First i replaced the speaker wire to that speaker, after i took the old wire out i tested the resistance with my DMM but it was fine. So that wasnt the prob... I then took my 2 RF RCA's out and put in a kicker 4channel RCA in but that wasnt the problem, but this is where i found out what was wrong, it was the RCA preouts on my HU! My jeep has no room whatsoever behind the HU and in the process of trying to clear the wires behind it and trying to jam the radio in multiple times i ended up damaging the front RCA pre-outs. That pretty much sucks....the pre-out still works but i have to kinda twist it till it gets a good signal and try to keep it from moving while trying to put the HU back in. Anybody know if this problem could be fixed easily? or would i have to send it out to a professional to have it done?
  12. i was using some cheap bits just to play around with the drill but ive got a set of the dewalt high impact bits, haven't used them yet tho the only thing i dont understand about the dewalt kit is the bit adapters that come with them...they only let the bit go in about 1/4 of an inch and if you try to go to work with it and you arent perfectly straight to you're screw then the bit turns at an angle and the bottom of the bit gets all twisted up and it wont work right anymore. Just dosent make any sence to me why they dont have the bit go all the way into the adapter like every other adapter out there lol.
  13. Lol im scared to use that thing, shattered 2 bits and broke an extension with it already haha. I use it mainly for my car now, got some adapters so i can use 1/4", 1/2", and 3/4 sockets with it. Sometimes the air impact gut is just too big to get into some places. lol yea it does
  14. After 2 years of beating on my Skill drill it went from this: to this: So ive been out of a drill (dont even have one with a cord) for like 3 months and i couldn't take it anymore. Took a trip to Home Depot with my bro and picked this up: It even came with this little guy for free...WOW this thing is a BEAST (1400 in. pounds of torque...the larger drill is only 650 in pounds of torque). It cost a lot more than i had planned for, but if you wanna play you gotta pay. Plus this thing should last for a long time..im hoping lol.
  15. how come ive never heard of it..seem's like they should be promoting it a bit more if they want a lot of ppl do go along with it.
  16. yea it all RF 12gauge speaker wire with some Knu wire in there, im kinda out of speakers to swap in atm lol but i'll take my last type S from the back hatch and put it in the door when i have some time and switch the RCA's lol yea there's plenty of moisture, but the hatch is perfectly dry and i took the speaker out of there and put it in the door. Then 10min later i took a drive around the block to see how it sounds and it started to make weird noises, turned it down and figured it was nothing, turned it back up and the noise got louder and louder until i took it out of the door and strapped it to my mono amp and smoked it from frustration. Anyway i never heard of moisture blowing speakers, is that common?
  17. the amp is as properly set as it can be with a DMM, if i had a oscilloscope or knew how to use one then it would be even more accurate but yea that was the first thing i took care of when i installed the amp. the high pass filter is at 100hz and all the channels are set to high pass.
  18. So the first speaker i had in the door was an Alpine type S and it blew cuz it had a hole in the surround and the cone was cracked. Second, fourth, and third speakers were some cheap Insignias that i bought when i first got my jeep, they are rated at 50 watts rms, and they all blew within a weak of instillation. And the fifth speaker i just swapped in today from the rear hatch of my jeep to the front door was also an Alpine Type S, worked fine in the rear...instantly blew in the front door. Im running an alpine MRP-F300 which does 50w rms x 4, so i cant see why the Insignias blew from that...maybe they really are just that shitty. All other speaker are running fine and none have blown since i initially installed them, which was about a year and a half ago, except the front passenger door which keeps eating everything i throw at it. Now i had always thought i was just blowing them cuz i played my music too loud but after i blew the Type S today right after moving it from the rear to the front im starting to think something is wrong my amp. Im still not sure if its the amp or just that it was the speakers time to go...but im gonna be getting some Phoenix Gold comps in the future so i wanna get this thing solved before i put them in so any ideas of why they would do that would be cool.
  19. well if you are running 2 then yea you are gonna get a lot of current draw, but with 1 it's far from horrible. My clarion 1500dpx is horrible...makes mad power tho
  20. ive got one, never gets hot and has clip protection which is great. HiFonics rate theri amps at 15v so you are gonna prob see 1100 watts max with a 12v setup charging at 14v.
  21. if you got an old car, cover the dist cap and alt with a plastic bag. You wont damage the alt if you get it wet but i have heard of some cases where they have failed after the engine bay has been washed. Wait till the engine is cold, look for fray wires in the harness or loose connections and take car of them before you do anything. Other than that it's all good. Just dont make a habit out of it cuz after too many washes your belt will dry out and start to crack and squeak, and you will have to replace it.
  22. a battery is a battery bro, unless you are talking about mixing 16v with 12v batteries then it's all good.
  23. x3 lol, my first l7 blew cuz of god knows what...second is still goin good.
