maybe because your amp didnt have enough power for the TRF's but when you changed subs since the Pioneers are weaker it got louder simply because its a lower rated woofer which takes it less power to get loud..but sometime people go with what sounds better at the moment.

i think its pretty crazy that people in other states love it when its like 50 outside and thats on their best day of the year(lol). its 54 right now in sacramento and its freezing but for example if someone comes to sacramento/cali in general from another state it would feel like 110 for them lol
