Do you have any recommendations? A deadener that uses a butyl based adhesive with no asphalt. There are several good companies out there, Dynamat, Second Skin, Audio Wrap, Audio Technix, and several others. I have personal experience with all the deadeners mentioned.

Do not use any deadener with an asphalt in the adhesive.

A 150 out of the trunk isn't extremely difficult, it is harder than most cars though. I did a 145.2 this weekend on 1 15, 1 Audio Pipe 1500, and a stock head unit so I was probably seeing less than 1 volt on my pre outs.

I had my 2 xl 12s in a 3 cubed box after all displacement, with 60 sq in of port, tuned to 37 hertz. First I had them on a POS stetsom 7k then I had them on a hifonics sampson. Broke a 150 out of my trunk with 2 xl 12s and a hifonics sampson.

I had the manufacture send out the customers who already had ordered rolls. Audio Technix is made in Texas and is also located in Texas. The product is 60 mil thick total with a 4 mil aluminum and uses a butyl adhesive. You really can't go wrong with us.
