look inside your radio hole with the bezel off and if you see a silver box with heat sink flares and three gold philips screws holding it in you have a factory amp. I know you said you don't but just look for me. After that take out the amp and buy a bha 1761 from amp of america or a 99-1761 from metra and wire her up and plug it into the plugs coming out of the amp...presto problem fixed

I bet your 4 gauge gets warm after bumping for a while...I would make the change

We used to take them to a machine shop and have them add 5 degrees to the bend

I think he's talking about the interior of the box not just the corners, you can use latex based paint it you want I forget the type of paint steve uses but you can do quick search to find that. Hope that helps

For that price you could get into some Focal Access 6 1/2's they are the 165 A1's and they sound really nice for the price.

Sounds like you don't have Switched power check it with a DMM and make sure you have a proper ground

Aww yes the good ole Fiero headrest speakers...All I can really say about them is Fail! They really mess up the sound stage and they get really painful after awhile, I was never a fan of this idea but it looks cool if thats your thing. I would pass on it but it's totally up to you. If you did it, the bass shakers are a must to complete the retro look and feel of the system man! :hairtrick:

I would look in Focal K2 Power series as well they scream and are super clean

I never use seat bolts because the factory uses a funky rubbery glue to seal the bolt holes and it tends to lift the ground I always sand away a spot of body or frame to bare metal and ground to that

I had a pair on demo from our rep here in Montana and had a chance to pick up the line and really was not impressed. They are the old MB Quart that for sure. I was really hoping that they had moved forward as a company and would bring something new to market but it's really just Quart from the early 90's in a new box with a new name. Their stuff from back then was great but their is better out there right now. I wish them success and I hope they can reinvent them selves.
