i want those songs!!!! sounds good, but i think you might need to keep a close eye on the voltage. -
nope havent metered it and it's actually a slot port box. the subs are dual 4
-
the only other way i can wire all 6 together is at .33 ohms and i dont trust that for a daily vehicle. the box is 12cu. ft. tuned to 33 hz.
-
its tuned at 33. i will be building a new box before too long but i'll probably stay around the same tuneing. i like the way it sounds now, it just doesnt look very good lol
-
a dd z1a at 2 ohms
-
finally got a some real power on em. still need to tune the amp and get a bunch more sound deadener
-
well im going to run it on a mechman 270, a xs power 3400 up front and a kinetik hc2400 in the back witch i will probably end up replacing with a xs 3100. it will be ran at 1 ohm daily, mounted to the back of a seat, not the box. should be ok right?
-
from what everyone is telling me on a local forum, its not a good amp and it will die, blah blah blah. has anyone on here had any experience with one of these personally?
-
has anyone ever clamped one of these to see what kind of power they really put out? just wondering what kind of power to expect out of it because i just picked one up.
-
well that sucks because mine isnt under warranty any more lol i've had it for almost two years
-
fuses are fine and i have unpluged everything except for power ground and remote and still the same thing. i do not believe there is any wires making contact between any terminals but i will double check that.
-
well i looked over everything tonight and found i had a bad ground at my back battery. fixed it and still nothing. so i took the case off the amp to look at the internals and still nothing. i have no idea what it could be.
-
today on my way home from work my amp went into protect for no reason. its a hifonics bxi-2010d. i had the volume about half way up with the bass know all the way down. i have had zero issues out of this amp since the day i bought it. anyone have any idea why this happened/how to fix it?
-
Does anyone know of a good 2" or so lowering kit for a 2003 ford explorer? the only one I've been able to find is a ground force 1.6" drop
-
as the the title says, will a battery go bad if it sits too long without being charged? the battery im asking this for is a kinetik hc2400. my buddy has one that he doesnt want and is giving to me for a stupid low price but im wondering since its just been sitting in his garage for a while if it might be bad. sorry for the run on sentence lol
-
thanks man i might end up getting one, but its hard to tell since i change my mind by the minute it seems lol
-
looks good, and loud. how do those amps perform? i thought about trying to get a hold of one but i was wondering how they do since no one around me has ever had one
-
this thing is sick!! no joke watching these videos has made me want to wall off my explorer
-
just out of curiosity why does eveyone like the open ended ones over the closed end ones? i use the closed end ones and just get it hot and fill it about half way up with solder and shove the wire in. its a little easier that way imo. not knocking anyones personal styles though, just wondering

orionexplorer replied to benz280se's topic in For Sale: Car audio related equipment only
i used to have the hk802sx, the one that did 4400w. it was a great amp for about a year or so and then it caught on fire out of no where. ma sent me all the stuff to send it back but when i did i never got anything in return.they wouldnt answer my phone calls or anything so to whoever buys this amp do not send it to them if anything happens! -
yea, i still go there unfortunatly

my levi's - lil boosie -
box specs are 12.3 cu ft. after displacement tuned to 32hz. i plan on running at LEAST double to each. and jeff i would but im going to be out of town this weekend, but if there happens to be a meet of some kind next weekend i would love to roll though and throw your amp in there to see what it would do.
