this thing is sick!! no joke watching these videos has made me want to wall off my explorer

just out of curiosity why does eveyone like the open ended ones over the closed end ones? i use the closed end ones and just get it hot and fill it about half way up with solder and shove the wire in. its a little easier that way imo. not knocking anyones personal styles though, just wondering

i used to have the hk802sx, the one that did 4400w. it was a great amp for about a year or so and then it caught on fire out of no where. ma sent me all the stuff to send it back but when i did i never got anything in return.they wouldnt answer my phone calls or anything so to whoever buys this amp do not send it to them if anything happens!

box specs are 12.3 cu ft. after displacement tuned to 32hz. i plan on running at LEAST double to each. and jeff i would but im going to be out of town this weekend, but if there happens to be a meet of some kind next weekend i would love to roll though and throw your amp in there to see what it would do.

haha the box is pretty tall buti dont have a whole lot of room so i had to make do, i was suprised at how musical the box is to be honest. it sounds damn good from 28 hz all the way to about 45 hz

i havent had a chnce to meter it yet, i was kinda holding off until i get more power so i can really see what its got

if your only putting 500 watts to each i would say go with a little bigger box. i have 4 level 3 12's in a 9.4 cu. ft. box tuned to 32hz and it is extremely musical and im putting about the same amount of power to them as you are

sounds good. what kind of camera do you have? it seems to handle loudness well

i plan on usein at least 50^ft on my roof, probably more. im tired of taking the headliner out to fix the damn braces. but thanks i just wanted to hear from someone who has used it to know if it was worth spendin money on

what is everyone's opinon on fat mat? i know second skin is better but i dont have the money for it right now and i have to get something on my roof, i've broke the same brace twice. just wondering how good it is for the price.

its a good sub as far as im concerened, i had 1 15 in 6 cu ft. at 32 hz on roughly 3000 rms and it never even got warm
