    Not at all. I don't look at them the same way I do dc aq fi etc. but they are a decent company. I just think the names are funny.

    What amp are you planning on running? I ask because not all 2,000 watt amps are created equal and some will bemore power hungry than others.

    Talked to DJ today. The new coppers will have a suspension similar to the aluminums. Will handle power better and be much stiffer. The aluminum is not being changed.

    DJ told me that the copper coils are assembled overseas, however, all recones and the aluminum line are made in house.

    Does anybody have any info on the new hdc3's. They are carrying a sale right now to eliminate all the old stock. All I know is that they are upgrading the suspension with a new spider pack and they are gonna be made in house instead of china. Just curious as to what the benefits of the new design will be and if the aluinum coils are gonna increase in price as well because they are already made in house with upgraded suspension.

    Nobody can rly tell... It way too many factors come into play on the meter. Box tuning, song, direction the subs face, where the box is placed. Just would be impossible to gues, but good luck and post pics :hairtrick:

    Is 2.625 cu ft your internal volume? If so then that box isn't big enough to go ported. Minimum recommended ported enclosure is 1.75 cubes per sub.

    I have an aq 15 and love it! For under $300 its gonna be hard to beat that hdc3 mang. Go for it!!!!

    Make sure you do a build log when you install this if you don't mind. I would like to see what it consist of to buy and install one.

    I dont have a router. Iplan on getting one but funds haven't been there. When I do get one I'll be on here asking you guys how to use all the bits lol

    I thought the edges of the suede would need to wrap around the edge of the wood to keep from being able to see the edge of the fabric.

    Sealed box is not recommended and they will laugh at that power as long as it is clean.
