I vote hdc3's four will handle that amp no problem and be cheaper than most doing it. I have one of tthe 15's right now ad I love it. DJ is a great guy to deal with also.

I wouldn't think so as long as the sub has enough room to reach full excursion without hittin the plexi. I would just search around the internet for some sexy grills if it was me. Maybe like the old kicker grills. I always thought they looked sick.

Yea thats not including port and sub dispalcement though but you could definitely do some damage with that space. RE's site says max 1.25 ported so you should have plenty of room.

Can you give us your max dimensions? That way someone can better help you with a design. Also the aq amps are great I run my 1200 at 1/2 ohm daily with little to no voltage drop at all and no problems. I love it.

Yea that sounds ok. Have you checked the voltage off of the back batt? Sounds like the batt may be crap. I have the same battery behind my seat in the truck and it does great. I have a run of positive and negative from the front battery to the back battery though, but I have done it the way you're talking about and it worked just fine too.

Why not just go ported?

Sounds good on paper. you'll be adding cone area and power, but nobody willknow til you build it. good luck. I got a little confused earlier but are you talking bout putting this 4th one on the seat?

Well I think 2 more powerful subs or even one really strong sub in a good ported box would be louder.

If you build higher than the bed how will you protect the box from the weather without a bed cover? Camper? Just curious

Not trying to snd rude but 6th order is bandpass. I'm guessing you mean 4th order vs. 6th order(correct me if Im wrong). I would go 6th order because from what I've seen on here and other forums they generally have greater output but I know very little about bandpass.

I think buying another sub just to put them in even smaller boxes would be a waist of money and leave you even more frustrated. Sounds like you have reached a point that all bassheads hit. Comfort vs. space. The only thing that would really justify more cone area is a bigger and probably ported box. So if you wanna get louder you're prolly gonna have to give up some space.

Most sub stages are meant to cover the frequencies for 20hz(some times lower) up to 80hz. In most cases, somewhere around 80 is where your midbass should come in.

I drive a single cab gmc 1500. I don't have a hatch. I installed on the back wall under the window because of the latch on my sliding glass.

What kind of truck do you have? That must be a deep bed because 18 's won't fit in mine like that. Even 15's present a prob because my bed is only 17.75 deep and if I go with 15's I won't be able to double baffle the top and bottom of the box.

First of all I would like to thank Ant for the great promotion Got this in the mail. First, impression is that it seemed alot heavier than I had imagined. Got home from work and opened up the box to find that ant had also included a free roller and fury blade along with the Damplifier pro. Anyway this is my truck interior and my box. I have an aq hdc3 15 firing at the back wall, so that is where I was preparing to install the deadener because my sliding back glass rattles to the point that I couldn't even stand to listen to it. Got the passenger seat and the box ripped out and removed the carpet from the back wall. Cleaned the metal with some Mean Green Degreaser and made sure it was good and dry. Only problem I ran into was that the damplifier pro was actually too sticky lol. I could not get the backing off of it to save my life. Soooo... I put it in the fridge for about an hour and it peeled off like it was nothing and still was hella sticky to the metal. Well just lost my sound deadening virginity lol. Was very impressed with how easily it stuck and molded to the shape of the truck. The roller made a big difference too. To anyone getting ready to do a deadening install you have to order the roller. After I got the hang of what I was doing it went pretty smoothly. Although I didn't have to much trimming because of the size of my application I was still impressed with how quickly it went. Got the top row done in about 30 minutes and had to put the box back in the fridge for a while because of the heat down here. After it cooled down I cut some strips to cover the gap between the deadener and the floor. So got the whole back wall covered. I had three pieces left over and decided to double up in the middle where the sub actually faces just for good measure. Got it all in and put the system back in and got everything hooked up and all I can say is WOW!!! It is so much louder and cleaner sounding I love it. The back window latch that drove me crazy before doesn't make a sound. This stuff is amazing. Ant has definitely earned a liftime customer and to anybody who may be on the fence due to price or other products I can promise you that this stuff is worth every penny and you won't be sorry. Anybody? Know where to get the stretchable material? The box I'm planning has lots of corners and weird edges and something stretchy would make my life alot easier lol. Thanks guys.
