  1. i know how you feel , trust me , this stuff happens alllll the time , somebody comes in and gets a deck installed and two weeks later the tranny quits , so now there calling me ask what i did wrong , wtf did i do , man i really feel for you thats what i getting out of this shit , and because a lot of people just want a cheap price and not quality work , well good luck to you ....

  3. Ive never seen a square port only aero ports and pvc pipe. there really easy to make ,
  4. ok 2 6 inch would be about 151 " so thats no going to happen . 1 6 inch is 15 inches with a port area of 28 square inches , but 1 7inch port would be 24 inches long with a port area of 38 square inches , a 7 inch port has more area than 3 4 inch ports , imo i think a 7 might be your best bet

  11. well im a little too late , but i would build a box like this so all the pressure goes ii to the cab, put a top on and port it in the cab , i have done tones of these they work great ,

  13. well you will be surprised of how little air space it takes up , 27 feet of 2x4 is one cubic ft, and if you use 3/4 x3" mdf is takes 67 feet, to equal 1 cubic ft, but bracing make the box , no bracing , no slamming , a smaller stronger box is better that a bigger box with no bracing !!!! good luck
  14. well if you make the port 50 inch, that will give you 40 htz , not enough air space for a port that big , if you make the port 14.5 x 2.5 20 inches deep that will give you 35htz
  15. i did the math do a port , 6"x6" 20deep gives you 33htz 13 inches deep gives you 37htz

  17. i always use mdf for the bracing , or you could use a double layer of mdf, trying using 1" mdf [/img] [/img] [/img]
  18. i have put alot of these in, my favorite is the kenwood excelon or the pioneer , the kenwood sounds pretty good good luck

  22. yea if you want , if you tune it right you should be fine , i had a box in my truck that was about 13 for 2 12 and hit about 147.0 . up to you .
  23. yea about 12 under the window line, if space is not an problem go as big as you want , the bigger the the more db,s , in my truck i had a 23 cubic foot box , 2 18 i hit 151.2 and then i changed to 12, 12s and hit a 152 , just make sure the box is build very strong , 18,s have a ton of power, it will flex 3/4 mdf no problem a few layers of 1 inch should be fine ...
  24. bigger the better , if you want to stay below the window line , i think you can fit 12 cubic feet, speakers up , port in the back , you should have a winner ohh yea lots of bracing
