Blowing LED
sphinxbccp replied to Tek's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
like stated above if the leds are 3 volt youll need a resistor, or you could wire 4 in series so resistors wouldnt need to be used -

i called jbl and after being on hold for ~27 minutes i had a 45 second conversation with the tech support... he said it would be bad to use a splitter... so new question, which rca bass level controller do i get? PAC or peripheral?? or what others are there?
-
i already got it but i wanted to ask first, i dont want to mess these amps up!
-
mine has 4 pins, its RJ11, but its flips colors from one end to the other normally, but using the splitter it flips once then again after the splitter which makes it the same on both ends
-
any other opinions?
-
Im trying to figure out how i should do this so i don't mess up the amps, i have two jbl gto1400.1s, this is my diagram lol The colors are the four wire colors that make the phone lines (RJ11), the top diagram is what would happen if i used the splitter i have, the bottom is what the wires normally do, im wondering if the fact that they dont flip 180 degrees will cause problems? thanks!

Is this a ok way to mount a amp to a box?
sphinxbccp replied to sphinxbccp's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
the foam isnt hard, and it doesnt stick out the sides -
The piece of MDF is secured to the box with different screws then what holds the amp, theres also a piece of foam over the screw heads where they would make contact with the bottom of the amp, this is a QUICK paint diagram of the rest lol please let me know if its ok or what would make it better
