My memphis 4k kicked ass! They are incredibly inefficient and pull a TON of current, kinda sucked. Day n night comparison to the DD Z1. Z1 was louder but I could get much more wattage before voltage drop was a concern. But the Memphis 4k sounded really good and probably the best rock amp I've ever used. It really liked double bass, but anyway. I would compare it to my T4k, but the fucker was BRAND NEW DEAD ON ARRIVAL! So, don't buy a T4k from someone who probably got them from a fell-off-the-truck sale. But the Memphis's are notorius for being sensitive. Known to die for no reason and some live forever in the harshest setups. They are risky but worth it.

It baffles me to think that our government can let someone live out their life after takin someone else's. Life in prison does not compare to no life at all. Unless its a true witnessed accident, the death penalty should be used everywhere. I'm sorry for your boy's loss. What's even worse is now life in prison ends up being 7-14 years instead. There's no justice anymore.

Are you trying to solve for angle of deviation or is your problem different than the one solved on yahoo answers? Is k a standard value or just one assigned by your teacher that will have to be interpretted by the standard variable, such as D. What is the exact question you were assigned?

Looks to be explained rather well in that link, so... whats the problem. Can't you copy that down into longhand. I'm obviously not familiar with rainbows so some factors need answering... Like are all rainbows the same, or do you have to plug in different values for whatever rainbow you were assigned. Little more information about what you are doing is needed as I'm sure there are a couple other math wizzes on here that might help. While it certainly is a long problem, its looks pretty easy (espicially since its already solved).

Well, since your running multiple subs, box rise will probably put you in the clear. BUT, its always a risk taking amps below their stablilty. Crossfire makes some pretty solid amps though. I'd do it, but I wouldn't recommend it if your not entirely sure what you are doing.

No, I haven't. But I don't ever use manufactuers box specs. I built boxes for what I like, or plan to do with the system. I've built several truck under/behind seat boxes and I've never had to do a downfire enclosure. Did he say anything about slot porting it? Slot ported boxes utilize shorter port length to attain same frequency as a non slot port.

I'd say the guy helping you just doesn't have the know how to build an unusually shaped ported box, or is just lazy. I say port that bitch. It just takes some patience and a little math to get your tuning correct. I say do it right. Port it, me and sealed don't get along.

Is that OSB? You have some serious box flex in that first vid. Thats bad. If thats OSB you need to build a new box. Actually, I would recommend you build a new box no matter what its made of. Do birch or MDF, double baffle and brace the hell out of it. Use some dowels or all thread. And if it were me, I'd change sub and port location to. Otherwise, I love me some Rockford Paper woofers, looks like it beats a little.

There's my educated guess. Knew I read it somewhere. The subs he's getting the-run-around on are for his dad. Makes the company seem worse now. One fucked customer can mean many more fucked customers. When a company does something good, and has a good product, you let others know and they get sales, if they steal someone's hard earned money, as a potential customer it my right to know before buying. Argument or not, I wanna know what company is trying to screw you over. Right now, I'm having the same bullshit with the guys that repair maxxsonics equipment. Won't mention names (CIA ENGINEERING). Amp has been out for 4 months and still no parts? Give me a fuckin break!
