SMD Sketchup
cc_audio replied to cc_audio's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Looks good, baskets are hella hard to make in sketchup. I left all my designs divided into two groups that way I can put any motor I feel like designing on the TI basket. Do you have yours uploaded to 3D warehouse? And this is an 18" SMD. I'll make a 15" when I find some free time. -
Well, I had some free time so I whipped this up. Most measurements are accurate (mounting depth and cutout). I actually started by modeling my TSNS's, and figured what the hell might as well make an SMD. I'll see if I can't share them so that anyone could take them out of sketchup's 3D warehouse.

That's a really good price, I use laminate a lot and I know that has to be at least a couple bills in laminate alone. Great box, and about as sexy and durable as you can get. Laminate looks sooo good! Hell for $100 I would buy it in a heartbeat if I could, just to resell if anything. I understand just how hard that box must've been to build if the inside is fully laminated.

TRUCK GOT BROKE INTO!...
cc_audio replied to matt402's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
^^^This! I got renters insurance just for the vehicle coverage. If you don't have it get it, and be sure to keep every receipt to anything you install in your vehicle and take pictures of all your equipment installed. Not only does it speed up the whole insurance process, but when you go above and beyond with pics and receipts they'll usually give you all your money and then a little extra. Total life saver when your forced to park your baby along the curb. -
Rattlesnakes and Vipers can be very difficult to catch by hand, and are super strong for not being constrictors. But I've yet to come across a wild constrictor of any kind. I have gone looking several times too. I also caught a Lace Monitor while I was there but I had no camera though. One bite from those and you can get a pretty nasty infection and usually a really high fever will set in. They have very similar saliva to a Komodo Dragon. I didn't get bit but he tore my arms up pretty good with his claws. Can't wait to go back, I didn't do near as much bush walking as I wanted to.

wisdom teeth
cc_audio replied to will77530's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
It was $700 for all four teeth, but I was awake and had minimal prescription (prepaid included) so I was stuck with just Ibuprofen 800s. Saved a lot of money though. -
So I was in the Blue Mountains, in Katoomba Australia and I happen upon this little guy. Actually the truth was I was searching specifically for this snake. Its an Eastern Brown Snake (common brown), and is the second most venomous land snake in the world. I'm a bit of an outdoorist so catching dangerous animals is no biggie, but this is certainly my scariest catch yet. Vid is uploading. Pardon my nerdiness in the vid, I'm a big animal lover especially exotic and dangerous wildlife and I had spent the last six months trying to find one of these damn snakes. Finally, the day before my flight home I found this little guy.

wisdom teeth
cc_audio replied to will77530's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
I was awake when I had mine pulled. Was kinda cool getting to watch, had him shoot me with Novocaine every ten minutes which left me with a uselessly numb face for about 10 hours (really sucked). Got to see him pull the teeth, stick all kinds of knives and scalpels in there. My left rear tooth spurted a huge stream of blood that reached the dentist's pants and coat. Was kinda cool, but being away is not for the strong stomach but was waaaaay easier on the wallet when you don't have dental. Didn't get any good drugs, just ibuprofen 800's. Some people bitch about it, I didn't think it was too bad. I had some really cracked chapped lips afterward and the dentist stitched my cheek to my jaw so I had to go back and have that stitch cut. But after a week, I was eating and drinking everything. Just stay away from straws and cigarettes you'll never have to worry about dry socket. I still say the worst part of wisdom teeth removal is giving up good food for a week. lol -
Haven't used this is a while. Yea!

Wheel Identification
cc_audio replied to cc_audio's topic in Wheels and Tires - The rubber hits the road here!
I think you guys nailed it with the Rinspeed. Problem is, rinspeed is a very vehicle specific rim company. I wonder if they're fit a boobarus bolt pattern. EDIT: Not looking good for bolt patterns. Damn these wheels -
Wheel Identification
cc_audio replied to cc_audio's topic in Wheels and Tires - The rubber hits the road here!
IROCs aren't even close to those. And they're not stock from Porsche either. From what I've read they're one-off customs made for Dyrdek's car. I want rims with the same look. They have the same simple, yet sexy look as the U2s everyone rides on (like meades) minus one spoke. Which makes them look like U@ but for cars. I'll keep digging for a simular rim, but if there's anyone else who's seen one simular, post a link please. -
Wheel Identification
cc_audio replied to cc_audio's topic in Wheels and Tires - The rubber hits the road here!
I just searched their whole collection, and thats a no go. None are the same... These damn wheels are eluding me. -
I know there are people on this site that have incredible wheel knowledge that can identify any wheel. I'm putting you guys to work, I have fallen in love with Rob Dyrdeks Porsche Panamera's Wheels. I must have them for my outback. So I'm wondering, who knows what they are? Best I've dug up is they're fully custom, which sucks. I'm just trying to find these rims or rims that look as close to these as possble. They are so sick!!!
