probably gonna have to get a NICER rod of some sort....i pulled the tensioner springs out years ago and aint no room for an actuator. It's really no big deal as long as it looks really good when i am done, and i think it will. just get a short strut. plenty of cars in the junkyard you can attempt to fit different sizes off. more info on the sunflash resin would be nice. will make those first layers of resin to build forms and molds before build up layers/stages really nice!

the biggest issue i see here is the DD-1 doesn't put a load on an amp. so how could it go into protect? nor does a DMM or O-scope. so if there is no load and the amp goes bad i would say it was poor build quality of the amp or something was on the verge of failing in the first place from mis-use or age. i have never dealt with db-r or what ever they're called but don't they fix amps? if that is the case who is to say their repair job wasn't hack? sadly enough if D'Amore and SMD had the DD-1 UL listed it would still get complains like before McDonalds put "caution hot" on there coffee cups and people burnt themselves. sealed box comment #1 And weren't his dd's in a box sealed off from the trunk? sealed from trunk comment #1 Uh... sealed on the dash i know what sealed on the dash means. its neither of the above quotes my comment was in reference too. as for my cone area comment. from what i understand he is on the same power as the 15's so cone area will play a factor. could i be wrong about his power levels...yes. when it comes down to it i made a comment that was to be looked at neutrally and got quoted and blasted for it. as i said in a response to a post made on facebook by Terry. this new set-up is getting some attention (due to the nice outcome of it) and its not all positive. my statements are not to be taken negatively. old DD set-up. don't know where people are getting sealed box from or sealed from the trunk. as for 156 in a trunk car. that is ridiculous! i fully respect Terry no matter the brand. I'm not super familiar with the IASCA rules but i do know he is in a class where power is limited. he and one other guy where going back and fourth for a couple months this summer by .1 DB. im pretty sure this trumped his competition pretty well. haters gonna hate! your a player in the game and a lot of people are jealous. keep up the good work. edit: most those kids most likely get sour when you don't like a comment directed to you.....because you have so much free time and nothing else going on but to respond to every comment right? building the wall with out the equipment realy should get you going on buy what you need. or you could find a member near your with a wall and get a demo. that will really get you moving

hey steve thanks for quoting me in your answer. i know i have done done a fair amount of hi-lo convertor installs in my time. since owning a scope they have sounded much nicer (roughly the last 2 years) but one thing i have noticed is they generally have not been getting over 1.3-2 volts. so this unit is promising!
