  1. Ok the all caps can go but i would say if your a "newbie" go with th re box calculator. its pretty accurate.
  2. honestly if i was your parents i wouldnt even claim it on insurance. i would make you pay for it. i dint drive for a year bc of a wreck until i could afford to fix tings myself. but it does suck though. hopefully you get something worked out.
  3. Im not really worrid about the competition i really just wanna come and get a start in competing. ive done a 140 on music and like 143.7 on tones all day log What class would fit me?
  4. see my setup doesnt really compare at all to any of those
  5. no i doubt a stock elctrical can handle it. i run about 1500 in my pontiac with all amps combined. i use 1 run of 1/0 i did the big three and got a yellowtop and it works just fine.
  6. boost that up to 0 gauge and try the box facing the other way. i got great results after i did that. i had 4 gauge but when i switched to 0 gauge and did the big three and also faced the box forward it got louder. like 2.5 decibles if i remember right.
  7. ive had pretty good results with my cvr 12's. definately not as good as they could be though. ive managed to break 140 on music like once. havnt done it since then. but i can do aobuta 143 on tones all day long.
  8. yea you have headroom but there is a cheaper route. but yea the amp will slam the subs.
  9. yea but still why waste the money for that amp when you can spend half that for the same quality. and i know how and why to set gains. i have about 500 going to each of my 12's and they take it but i wouldnt risk it with much more
  10. do not put that amp on those subs. AT ALL it puts out well over 1000. maybe 12-1300
  11. technically yes bigger valves would still be needed. but that is waht you would want is a fast spurt
  12. the exact reason. in my old car it did the same thing until one day i had the trunk opened and it didnt do it. then we put weight on the trunk so it didnt move and it didnt come on. but nice setup but the way.
  13. use a nitrogen tank along with the normal airide setup. if i remember right steve did this too. use it when it need s to be done faster than waiting in the compressor/s
