dont sell subs, and buy another sub while your waiting to my some better subs. just keep what you have, a better box will help you out way more than just better equipment it a bad box. and you dont need Fi or DC, just cuz its all on here. besides, sundown is the way to go anyway, haha

From your sig is says you have a f150 single cab, so im assuming thats what you wanna put this setup in. I would say you arent limited to 8" subs, Ive put 2 of the SA 12s in a buddys truck and got it in the 50s, so i would step up to bigger subs.

I would do the 3 15s, but i wouldnt do a 1600 watt per sub, they are rated for 600 watts you know?? Just cuz they a beastly little subs doesnt mean you shouldnt be smart with power. I would step up to the Z's

this^^^ and if your worried about your box playing well below tuning, your port area will play a bigger factor to play well below tuning should it be bigger or smaller port area? sorry to thread jack Smaller

with that power you would be good with a walmart battery and the big 3 upgrade. Hey Frito, I already have the big 3 ran in the car. At one point the cars stock alt. was sticking at over 16V intermittently (sticky volt. regulator), which I'm sure really hurt the stock bat, so I upgraded to a 220 in the car. I'm very interested in getting a deep cycle or spiral cell batt, because I do intent to upgrade to another 12 sooner than later. I hate buying Walmart / K-mart / any marts electrical brands, I'm look at getting something with some steady power and a trusted name. I'm hating the dimming!!! If your only running 600 watts, you shouldnt have dimming, I wont say walmart this time, but you would be fine with say a duralast gold battery under the hood, or you could get an optima if you felt necessary. You asked for best for your buck, and in your case you dont need and expensive battery.

15s? what kind? well with 13 cubes after disp. if you go with 16 sq inches of port at 23 hz your port is gonna be 70 inches long and almost 9 cubic feet. if you do 24 sq inches per cube at 23 hz youll be at 110 inches long and about 20 cubes. both of those will most likely not fit and only be good in that range you said. but for more musical 12 sq inches at 33 hz, youll have a 24 inch port only taking up a 2.16 cubes

depends on your box..... I would say a flared slot port, If you just want that range alone i would do something like 16 to 24 sq inches of port per cube, depending on the subs tuned around 20~23hz but that would most likely suck on anything above 35~40hz if you want something that is musical that will still go down that low it would say again a flared slot port tuned to 30~33hz with 10~12 sq inches of port per cube

I just dont like sealing it off, and have pretty much the same types of numbers without it sealed off. the only setup i did seal of gained me almost a db, but that was just for a competition, and its not really noticable daily. and with a box firing back or sub forward port side will be easier to remove when you want to change things up or experiment more.

once i saw the usaci trunk record was a 154.3 and thats what i had, i figures id stop messing in my trunk since its not technically considered one to them. and eventually build for that class. not if theres a new record now after finals though
